You couldn't sleep.

Maybe it's because you chose to skip dinner to hide from the blondes again or maybe it was because you just didn't realise you were hungry?

A glance at your neon clock told you it was 3:27AM. Technically Sunday morning.

You thought about just forcing yourself to sleep and waking up in a few hours for breakfast, but your body just wouldn't settle dammit...

An Omega thing? You wondered, letting your mind focus on your body, but it was simply hunger. Normal average person hunger.

Feels good.

You pout, listening out for any signs of life in the dorm. When you could only hear soft snores you threw your legs over the side of the bed and stood up, sneaking quietly out of your room and down the hall.

Determined not to have a repeat of last time you didn't dare make a sound to alert anyone that you were creeping around the kitchen.

On opening the fridge you felt your chest clench.

A post-it note was laying sweetly on top of a container with less than sweet words written on it in familiar handwriting.

'Stop being a midnight gremlin and eat at a normal time. Saved you some leftovers Extra. Enjoy.'

Inside was of course Bakugos specialty spicy curry...

Now there was a dilemma... Do you snub it and eat something else or do you just swallow your pride and enjoy some home cooked goodness?

The growl of your stomach answered for you and you peeled off the note, screwing it up and throwing it in the trash before throwing the container in the microwave to heat it up.

You'd deal with the concequences of accepting food from that asshole later...

The soft hum of the machine cut the silence and you prayed it wouldn't wake anyone up as you wandered into the couch area and looked out at the night from the large windows.

It was so calm, not a lick of breeze.

A smile pulled at your mouth as you leaned against the window and watched the stars, doing your best to meditate and only hold onto the present moment.

It was nice to distance yourself from everything that had been happening to you and loose yourself in the sky.

To not worry about Alphas and a fox stalker and battle evaluations and heats, but just to focus on your breathing.

But only for a moment.

A small shift of movement caught your eye, pulling your focus down to the treeline.

"No way..." Your jaw dropped as you made out the little white shape that sat perfectly in view at the edge of the woods. A little white shape that looked like a fox.

"No way!" You almost yelled, sprinting outside into the cool air with the fox still sat there, as if waiting for you around 100 feet away.

You stood in shock, barefoot a few steps away from the building, waiting for it to simply vanish before your eyes.

No way was it actually here?!

You were just tired and hallucinating right?

But you could smell it.

It was there! Right there!

Your food in the microwave was long forgotten as you charged forward, watching as the fox spun and ran into the woods.

Should you tell someone?! It was getting out of sight!

"You're not getting away this time!" You growled, transforming into your wolf to take chase once again, knowing in the pit of your stomach that this wasn't a good idea... But you had so many questions.
