19. Purple sub

"That's... That's a fox." You said dumbly as you stared, frozen in place as the creatures bright blue eyes seemed to hold you in place, unable to move a muscle as it studied you.

Foxes weren't overly rare, but to see one in the middle of the day in a public place...

"You don't see many around here. Not a white one anyway." Ochako whispered, as if scared that any louder might frighten it off as you both stood in awe at the beautiful creature.

With a bewitching call, fox slowly stood up, gracefully stretching it's back in an arch and revealing nine flowing tails before it leapt up the fire escape and disappeared to the rooftops.

Your mouth hung open.

Nine tails?!

A damn nine tailed fox?!

Before Ochako could close her own dropped jaw, you transformed into your wolf and bolted after it, your curiousity brimming.

Had this thing been watching you all those other times? Why?

"No, wait! (Y/N)!" She tried to catch you and activate her quirk but you had already darted from her reach, clambering awkwardly up the fire escape to look around the roof.

A flash of white caught your eye and you ran for it, leaping between buildings to try catch up with its darting actions, turning so fluidly, it's nine tails taunting you, becconing you to follow until it slipped around a corner and disappeared.

You panted as you came to a halt, looking around and sniffing, trying to locate where it could have vanished off to, your nose high in the air.

A faint smell made your nose twitch and you followed it's trail back to the streets, jumping down a fire escape... and landing right on top of someone.

"Gah!"

The fox??

Your wolf form had pinned someone and you quickly transformed back, your human weight now straddling a purple haired boy with large bags under his eyes.

"Caught you! Wait... You don't smell like that fox..."

And he most certainly didn't look like the fox in any way... Even if he was a shape shifter like you, the gap in appearance was too large...

Your own body and eyes matched your wolf shape, so it didn't make sense that piercing blue eyes would turn to soft lavender...

Your head lifted as your nose twitched in the air desperately but you were not able to find the scent anymore.

Damnit...

You looked down to the bewildered yet sleepy boys lavender eyes and pouted, getting off of him carefully, feeling guilty for pouncing on him.

You must have looked like a wild thing, having pinned him and been sniffing the air like a blood hound. Not to mention the small growl of annoyance that left your lips before you acknowledged him once again.

You shuffled off of him to stand up and reached out a hand to offer help

"Ah, I'm sorry. My bad."

The boy accepted your help and stood up and brushing himself off with a lazy smirk as he slowly seemed to recognise you.

"You're UAs Omega student, aren't you? The wolf girl."

You frowned as he smiled victoriously and sniffed at him, not smelling any indication of an Alpha.

"You're a Beta, right?"

He nodded, almost proudly and crossed his arms.

"It's (y/n), right?"
