"Are you sure with this? it's almost 7 hours to drive from Tokyo to Misugi,"

I said while I'm already here inside the car together with him and he's currently driving right now. I didn't know that he knows how to drive in right-handed cars.

I'm currently sitting on the left side and he's on the right side who's currently driving now.

"It's fine. I just wanted to make sure that you're safe. I already told my mom that I will be in Misugi with the girl that I like," how can he even say that like it was just a usual thing?

I can't believe him. How can he even tell his mom about me? I'm not even his girlfriend! I didn't know that he is that open to his mom.

We're so damn opposite.

I'm also that open with my dad.

But still, I just can't help but get awkward here. I've never been awkward but this guy just made awkward again.

"Just give me the directions of your destination then I'll take you there," he said while his eyes were on the road.

Okay, I'll just give it to him since I'm here already with his car. I handed him the map of direction since I've been there a lot of times. I already know the shortcuts.

We wasn't having a conversation while were on the trip because I also don't have something to talk about. Same as him also. Pero dati naman, siya 'yong palaging may kwento pero ngayon nagiging tahimik na rin siya.

"Do you mind if I play the stereo?" he asked.

"Yeah, go on," sabi ko kahit na nagtataka ako kahit kailangan niya pang magpaalam sa'kin.

He played the stereo and it was all just a Japanese song so he do multi-tasking in connecting his phone to the speaker through Bluetooth. Wala rin naman kasi nang masyadong sasakyan dito ngayon kaya okay lang.

He played the song it was an english song, finally. Hindi na sasakit ang ulo ko sa pakikinig.

I look at her and have to smile

As we go driving for a while

Her hair blowing in the open window of my car

And as we go, the traffic lights

I watch them glimmer in her eyes

In the darkness of the evening

Is he kidding me right now? why does he have to play that song? is it because we're going for a drive right now?

I glanced at him and he was smiling while his eyes are on the road. Is he that happy now?

This is a very corny song. Very corny that I turned it off because I find it corny. He was about to protest but I raised my brows at him that's why he just continue driving without saying anything.
