Chapter 43
5 years later...
"Kuya CJ! you're so annoying! give me back my color pencil!"
Ugh! the kids are fighting again! I just came home from work and they're fighting over a color pencil again. Dati pagkain, ngayon naman color pencil.
"Baby, I'm your Kuya. You should share with me some of these. I don't have these colors,"
"Kuya CJ!"
"What's the problem again?" I asked and they immediately faced me.
"Mommy!" they exclaimed before they run and hug me.
Agad na napawi ang pagod ko nang naramdaman ko ang yakap nilang dalawa. I never knew that having kids was this fulfilling. I thought I would never change my mind but now, I would say they were the best thing that happened to me.
After I passed my licensure exam, I applied for a job and got hired from one of the biggest construction firms here in Australia. I applied for the job after the kids turn 1 year old and completed my Master's degree here in Australia. It was not easy to work with Australians since they value time like an expensive thing in their life. I grow up in the Philippines which had weird time management.
I have to wake up early kasi aasikasuhin ko na pa 'yong mga bata. Natutu na akong magluto sa paglipas ng mga taon at hindi naging madali pero kinaya ko naman sa tulong na rin ng pamilya ko.
My twins were always been the best reason for me to work hard and bring the best in me for every day living my life with them.
They're still 4 years old. I named the boy with the same initials as his dad because he really looks like little CJ. Looking at my little boy, he looks like his dad. The features of his face look like his dad and I can't help but get happy because I named him Chadwick Jacob who has the same as his dad.
CJ.
My little CJ.
Though they're twins you can see the differences in some angles while the girl looks like me. I look at my little angel and she looks like me. She's so beautiful I was so relieved seeing her safe that day when I gave birth to her because she's the last one to get out. They're twins but they didn't go out at the same time. Chadwick came out first then hours later, it's my little angel.
Czarina Valentina.
They were fraternal and identical twins but from a different angle, I can see the difference between the two of them.
They're still not that heavy so I carried both of them with my arms which they always like. They always want me to carry them both, well, I can do it now but if they turn 5 then I cannot do it anymore. They're getting heavy every day. I wish they would grow slowly so that I can still carry them in my arms just like when I gave birth with them.
Giving birth was like a life-and-death situation for me. When I gave birth to the twins, I felt the pain I never had before but it was all faded when I heard the sound of their cry and saw the both of them and hold them with my arms.
I was in tears out of joy the moment that I saw them. I almost had 18 hours of labor at that time because it's a twin that's why it consumed a lot of time but now they're growing so fast without even realizing that they will be turning 5 this coming October 23.
"How's work, mommy?" my little CJ asked.
He got his looks from his dad but his attitude was just like mine, I mean he's always curious about things. He's also very sweet to me and to all the people here especially with my dad who is their Lolo Dad.
