Chapter 37

"Merry Christmas!"

Everyone greeted each other in the house. CJ hugged me greeting a Merry Christmas while were both watching the fireworks from the Balcony. We were both wearing a red shirt and Santa's hat.

In other words, we're twinning with our clothes. That's his request and I didn't find it weird so I agreed at okay naman. Para kaming bumalik sa pagkabata dahil sa sout naming dalawa.

He can't just kiss me here because my whole family is here. My parents, my grandparents, and Gideon. Kuya is not here at wala rin akong pakialam sa kanya.

"Merry Christmas, baby. I love you," he said sweetly while hugging me.

"Merry Christmas and I love you, my CJ," I hugged him back but then he let go wearing that smile from ear to ear facing me tapos twinkle-twinkle pa 'yong mga mata niyang nakatingin sa'kin.

"M-my CJ?"oh come on! kinikilig ba siya? tapos ng ang pula ng mukha niya! what the hell is wrong with I said?

"Yes, my CJ 'coz 'you're mine," I just said casually and now, he looks like a kid with a smile wearing his cute dimples on his cheeks! Ugh! He's so adorable.

"I like that, when in public, call me babe and we're alone, call me that, I love it!" he exclaimed.

"I love you more," I planted a soft kiss on his lips never minding if one of my family is watching.

What the——kinikilig parin ba siya tuwing hinahalikan ko siya? bakit? as this is the first that I kissed him.

My family likes him so much, I mean my grandparents do like him because he's formal and respectful. He's that kind of person even backstage. Were having a Noche Buena celebrating Christmas.

I'm also happy that I was able to celebrate Christmas with him. This is so memorable for me. We don't do exchange gifts because were lazy buying gifts.

"Merry Christmas, apo!" Lola greeted me.

"Merry Christmas, La" I greeted back giving her the wind and she accepted it.

"Oo nga pala, babalik na kami ng Australia pagkatapos ng New Year. Gusto mo bang sumama? Bakasyon ka naman doon,"

"I will think of that, La. I would love to stay there for a week," I said and she nodded then took a sip of the wine.

"Sama mo na rin si CJ kung pwede. Live in na ba kayo?" she asked and I shook my head.

"No, La. He's in the guest room. He's just temporarily staying here to celebrate the holiday with us," I denied that we're living together because we're not.

"Ganun ba? Sayang naman. Gusto ko na ng isa pang apo sa tuhod, tsk!" wow, seriously?

"La, I have no plans to have a kid even in the future and he knows that,"

"Naku, 'wag kang magsabi niyan. Baka mamaya, mausog," she said then left.

Oh my Godness! Old people always start to get weird. What's mausog, by the way? I didn't even know the meaning of that shit.

As promised, CJ will drink this night with my dad. They're now outside of the house drinking shots and I know that CJ is not an party drinker, he's not a club goer either kaya nalalasahan niya talaga 'yong pait ng alak.

"Tito, this tastes gross!" he sticks his tongue out because of disgusts at Sumbawa lang si Daddy.

"Hayaan mo, masasanay ka rin. Ito pa," inubat lang ulit siya ni Daddy kaya wala siyang choice kundi tanggapin at inumin 'yon.
