CHAPTER 42

Aberry's POV

"Why do you have to punch that kid, Oliver!" tanong ko pagkasara ko ng pinto dito sa kwarto namin.

Oliverious seated on the bed trying to control his anger and brush his hard up out of frustration. "Hey, hey, look at me." nilapitan at lumuhod ako sa kanyang harapan upang harapin siya

I cupped his face, "He's not a kid anymore Aberry, for god's sake that guy is in this 30's already and he fucking hurt my daughter!" naiintinidihan ko kung saan nanggagaling ang galit niya, so, I stood up and hugged him.

He wrapped his arms around my waist, trying to calm himself down. "It was a fucking painful scene seeing my daughter in that state Aberry, I can't just fucking forgive that guy for hurting my daughter. My child is everything to me and I won't let other people hurt them again, once is fucking enough!"

Hinayaan 'kong ilabas niya lahat ng galit na kanyang nararamdaman at nanatili lang ako sa tabi niya. I know what he feels, araw-araw kong nakikita kung paano niya pagmasdan si Olivia, at kung paano siya nasasaktan tuwing nakikita itong lumuluha.

If this is painful for Olivia, mas masakit ito sa amin na magulang niya dahil mas doble ang sakit kapag nakikita mo ang anak mong naghihirap at nasasaktan.

It kills us, Oliver is right Olivia has suffered enough. But she's also old enough to decide for herself. She chose to love that man, and I will not doubt her love.

I waited for him to fall asleep before I put him down on the bed. Sumilip ako sa terrace ng kwarto namin upang tanawin si Hector. Poor guy, he's still waiting for Olivia outside with bruises on his face. Oliver got furious after seeing Olivia cry so loud inside her room, causing him to beat this guy. I took a deep breath and walked toward Olivia's room. Pumasok ako sa silid niya kung saan kasama niya si Arianna habang nakahiga sa kama at patuloy pa'rin sa pagluha.

Lumapit ako sa kanya at umupo sa gilid ng kanyang kama, spread my arms to hug her. Agad niya akong niyakap at umiyak sa aking braso, "I m-miss h-him M-mom, b-but I d-don't know what to d-do now. Hindi ko inaasahan ang lahat ng ito," Olivia whispered, she wasn't prepared for this situation, so I understand her, I was once in her position back then.

Alam ko kung paano mablanko sa ganitong sitwasyon.

"It's normal for you to not know what you want to do, alam kong nagulat ka na nandito siya, if you still don't want to see him it's alright but I just want to say that he's still outside." malumanay 'kong sambit.

Agad siyang tumayo at sumilip sa bintana, she slowly covers her mouth seeing his man outside."Why is he still h-here?" nanghihina niyang sambit. It feels surreal seeing my daughter in the position that I was once standing in.

Watching his man in the most chaotic feelings, this is a fight against herself. Ito yung sinasabi ni Madam Lizeth na Love isn't love, if it isn't complicated. It's very intricate but I know this is love.

"He said he loves you so much that he's willing to wait even though your father almost beat him to death," I said frustratedly because I remember how Oliver beat that kid outside. He didn't even drudge a punch from Oliver, tinanggap niya ito ng buong puso.

"I want to be alone, mom," She whispered out of the blue. I nodded and glanced at Arianna, "Ok, Ari let's go," I gently said, tiningnan ako ni Arianna na puno ng pag-aalala sa kanyang mukha. "But m-mom we can't l-leave ate like this----" I cut her out and spoke. "Let's go Ari," wala siyang nagawa kung hindi bumababa ng kama ng ate niya at sumunod sa aking palabas ng pinto.

I close the door, "Mom we can't leave ate like this, she needs us," hinarap ko siya at hinawakan ang magkabila niyang balikat bago nagsalita. "Hindi tayo ang kailangan ng ate mo ngayon, that guy standing in front of our gate is the person she only needs." I whispered and walked her back to her room.
