Hector's POV
"Let's all welcome the grand entrance of our lovely bride," it was a breathtaking moment, seeing them opening the door of this church.
And My Olivia showed up under the light from the sun. I shed tears as I watched her take her steps towards the aisle.
At first, I actually thought that I wouldn't like a woman like her. I met her in her worst situation, running in the middle of the street trying to chase after someone with those messy black short hair, a black leather jacket, and a dress underneath.
Sweat all over her face and her eyeliner smudge, lips are darker than blood red. She was not the typical girl that any guy would be whipped for, at first sight, but underneath that messy look I know I saw her beautiful eyes that marked something inside of me. That time, it was a bad day for me, so I thought she was trying to get herself into trouble.
I thought she was going to commit suicide, so, I drag her to the nearest police station that I know.
Olivia was so messy that day that I could have my eye out of her. She was defending herself so hard that she ended up looking desperate. Then the second time around, we met again.
Damn, I didn't know that she was living in the same condominium building that I live in. and worst of all, her boyfriend was my brother's lover that caused us to crash paths with each other.
Unexpectedly one night happened, which I would never regret having.
Olivia became my peace, my home, that I have never noticed while she was in my arms. I realized it all when it's already too late.
I feared love, not knowing that this would cause me everything.
Hindi ko inaasahan na kakayanin kong bitawan lahat ng pinaghirapan ko ng halos buong buhay ko para lang habulin at sundan siya dito.
Olivia is a burst of my sunset, as the glowing sun, a crisp circle in the bloody sky, illuminated a quivering path across the water. It bathed the ocean's meek waves of feelings and the wispy clouds in a burning red like her hair. She was bold, brilliant, and had a personality that was rich in colors.
And sometimes she's like a sun dipped below the horizon when she's trying to look strong, the fleeting colors of dusk begin to fade away. The charcoal-black rocks symbolize her tears hidden by circling around small pools of water, shimmering confidently before dark falls upon her.
I have loved her undoubtedly. Pero ako mismo sa sarili ko ay hindi iyon agad nalaman.
I smile when she reaches the center of the aisle and meet Mr. Beltran there. Hinawakan niya ang braso ng ama at lumuluhang naglakad kasama ito papalapit sa akin.
Watching her walk with her father makes me remember the night when her dad changed his mind and talked to me.
"I might be tired; I will rest but I'll always come back to you." I kissed Olivia before I turn my back on her and continue what Mr. Beltran ordered me to do it.
I have to prove to him that I'm serious about his daughter. And I want to spend the rest of my time with her. I watched Olivia go back inside the house before she closed the door leaving me here.
"Wait for me Olivia, we'll get there soon," I whisper, then resume picking the bushes.
When I'm almost done, the door of their house opened, and when I raised my head up. I saw Mr. Beltran walking towards the gate. Seriously looking at me.
