James: There's a reason as to why I've just been leaving the house without explaining anything to you.
Max: We respect your privacy, but we were wondering what you were doing.
James: You guys better promise to not tell anyone about this, alright?
They all nodded.
James: Good. Now, please listen because what I'm about to tell you, you won't believe.
They all listened in. They didn't know what was about to be told to them.
James: The truth is... I've actually been working for someone.
Harrison: Who? Didn't you say you were working for Grizzco?
Max and Harry shut Harrison up.
Max: Please, Harrison, let James do the talking.
James: I'm not sure how I'm supposed to say this to you guys, so I'm just gonna say it. I'm an agent of the Squidbeak Splatoon.
The guys sat in silence. They didn't wanna talk over James, but they had no idea who that was.
Max: One question. Who is the Squidbeak Splatoon?
James: I thought you'd ask. They were the people who retrieved the great zapfish after it was stolen while taking down Octavio in the process. The team consists of Cap'n Cuttlefish, the Squid Sisters, and a third agent as well. I'm the fourth agent.
Harrison: Wait, you mean THE Squid Sisters? Like Callie and Marie?
James: Precisely. I know this is tough news for you to hear, but Callie went missing recently. We believe it has to be the work of the Octarians. We have no real info about the Octarians since the retrieval of the great zapfish. Since Octavio has passed, we don't even know if the Octarians have a leader. We assume they do. My mission is to go through 5 districts, gather any information about the Octarians, and retrieve Callie safely.
Max: Wait, this is YOUR mission? Why'd they choose you?
James: Because Marie saw potential in me. She knew I'd be the perfect Agent 4.
Harrison: Wait, she saw you? When?
James: During our exhibition game.
Harrison: So she saw us play too?
James: Yep. She watched the match and saw me and thought I'd be a great pick for Agent 4.
Max: But why didn't they pick Agent 3 to do this mission?
James: I don't know... I haven't seen Agent 3 since I was first inducted as Agent 4...
Harry: So, where do you go from here?
James: My first mission is tomorrow. I start in District 1. You guys might not see me tomorrow morning. Believe me, I'll be fine.
Harry: I understand. Well, good luck, then.
James: Thanks. I'm gonna need it.
Harrison: This won't be the last time we see you for a while, right?
James: Of course not. I'll still be around. This mission won't last too long. I'm sure you'll at least see me tomorrow, whether it's before or after the mission, or both.
Harrison: I understand.
James: Please don't worry about me. I'll be fine. Just understand that I'll be working for them, or should I say with them, from now. So, thanks for understanding, guys. Why don't we do something fun now?
Max: How about a game of Smash?
Harrison; Hell yeah! I love Smash Bros!
James: Okay, Smash Bros it is.
