Last time on Hero's Charge...

Krystal has made the decision. She has decided to try and escape the octo base and make it to the surface. Her only worry is how she can make it out without being spotted. She had to create a plan to escape.

Krystal: Okay, so the exit to the surface is closed shut...

She had stolen a map of the base earlier. She laid it out on her desk.

Krystal: Wait, I didn't notice there are guards on the surface! That changes everything!

The top of the map showed a small building encased by a wired gate. An arrow pointed to it, saying "guards".

Krystal: But that's the only way out... How can I get past them?

She thought for a moment. Then she got an idea.

Krystal: It's the only thing I can possibly do...

She scanned the document for a few more minutes, and she was ready to plan her escape.

Krystal: Alright. First, I need to make my way to the surface exit. There's a helicopter arrival scheduled in an hour, so I can use that as my excuse to escape.

Usually, some octarians and octolings aren't allowed in certain areas or even allowed to roam the base at certain times. But Krystal was an elite commander, so she really had no restrictions.

Krystal: Once I make it past the exit. I have to use my... *sigh* method... to get past the guards.

One thing confused her, though.

Krystal: Wait, won't I need a getaway vehicle? I can't just walk out there and expect the guards to not feel suspicious!

She thought for a moment.

Krystal: Screw it. Let's get this thing done.

She grabbed her essential items from her office, made her way out, and shut the door behind her. Then her climb began.

She kept going, level after level before she was close to the top. She stopped for a quick breather.

Krystal: I guess this is it. It's now or never. What's the time?

She checked her watch. It said 12:30.

Krystal: Perfect.

She walked up one more level before meeting the octoling guard at the surface entrance.

Guard: Afternoon, commander Krystal. Can I help you?

Krystal: Hey, can you let me up?

Guard: Why? You haven't been assigned any missions yet.

This stunned Krystal. She needed to think of an excuse quickly.

Krystal: Uh... well... change of plans. I'm taking the next helicopter for a scouting mission.

Guard: Then why are you here now? It doesn't arrive in 30 minutes!

Krystal: I just need to get up there early, okay?

Guard: Well, I'm not sure if I can do that...

Krystal: Aw, c'mon. Please?

She pushed out her breasts.

Krystal: For me?

The guard blushed. His heart got the better of him, and he let her up.

Guard: Alright, then. I'll let you out.

Krystal: Yay! Thank you! *she said jumping excitedly*

She froze.

Krystal: Oh-! Uh... I mean... Thanks for that.
