I hadn't uttered a word about what happened between Chrestina and I. I have a feeling she is embarrassed—I'm embarrassed too. I text her the next day assuring her that I would keep it between the two of us.

She didn't respond to my message but I'm sure she seen it because she opened the message. I pushed it all to the back of my mind as I start to listen to Landon.

Hearing Landon's fast paced speech was so intriguing to listen to. He stood in the middle of his room, and I laid on my stomach with my crossed ankles lifted behind me. I can't stop the amazed look on my face, I don't think I'd be able to talk so loudly and fast at the same time.

He's been using the hourglass I got him for Christmas, and it makes me feel good knowing I bought something he can always use. Debate is so competitive in that sort, and you must have courage to do it.

His topic is on student debt for college students and whether it should be forgiven or not. I turn on my back and feel my stomach, I'm sure if it were possible, I'd feel the metaphoric butterflies in my stomach fluttering hearing him practice.

"I don't know how you do it, it's so much work trying to find all the perfect points on a specific subject and to give it fast like that? I don't think I'd ever be able to muster up the courage to do a debate competition." I admit. I don't look at him as I do so but when I feel the weight of his body I immediately groan.

"Lan stop, we can't both be in your bed." I reason with him.

"My dad is sleep from working overnight don't worry." He chuckles at my discomfort and continues to kiss on my face over and over like usual. "Your face is so damn beautiful Dri," He pauses as he looks at me intently. "I love kissing it." He admits as he showers me with kisses. I gasp at his choice of words and quickly push him off me.

"Thank you, Lan, but I need you to relax a bit, okay?" I get overwhelmed with his affection. I'm not sure what he is trying to do but I stop him while he's at it. He kisses his teeth and gets up from off me. "Do you not like when I kiss on you?" He frowns. "If you don't, I will stop I don't want you to feel uncomfortable in any way." I sigh at him as I look him in the eyes, and he looks worried.

I peck his lips once "I know, I just don't want to be disrespectful. We agreed with your parents' rules already so..." He returns my kiss by kissing me deeply this time and I feel his hand grip my hip and I groan on instinct. He quickly stops and sits up from off me.

Open door policy is in place for a reason.

"You're right, we can just talk, okay?" I sit up in the bed and intertwine my fingers awkwardly.

"Yeah, that's fine." I agree as he stands up and paces the room. "My birthday is in about three weeks, and I have been saving and my family has been helping invest into it because I really want a hype birthday party." He does a trendy dance and I chuckle at his attempt at it.
