(A/N: Not going to lie, I spent almost three hours looking up classic Romanian wine)

Donna pressed her palm against her cheek, staring at the half finished doll she had been working on. It was a beautiful wooden doll with round joints and dark eyes. She sighed and leaned back in her chair, looking at the door that led to the medicine room, half expecting Lex to walk into the room but remembered that she was at Alcina's home. The Dollmaker hadn't stopped wondering when the woman would be back from Castle Dimitrescu. She tried telling herself that Lex would be back, but a strong feeling of anxiety kept her chest in its grasp, contorting and squeezing like a snake.

It got to the point she had to remove herself from her workshop and go to the kitchen to make herself some tea. Angie was upstairs and chatting with her other doll friends but had come down to check on the ravenette about fifteen to twenty minutes ago. When she entered the kitchen, she filled the kettle and began to boil it on the stove. She looked up and opened a cupboard, taking out a small teacup and setting it down on the counter. She let out a deep sigh, pressing her palm against her forehead. When she felt her bare skin against her palm, she wasn't wearing her veil. She had been in such a hurry she must have forgotten it on the table in her workshop.

She shook her head and placed a tea bag in the cup. It was only her and Angie in the house, she didn't have to worry about Lex seeing her scar, despite the fact that Lex said she wasn't bothered by her scar and her body language around her when Alcina had removed her veil didn't display any evidence of discomfort. She wondered why her scar didn't seem to bother Lex in the slightest, or maybe she was just really good at hiding said discomfort. The woman was almost entirely unreadable due to the blindfold she wore. After all, the old saying goes: Eyes are the windows to the soul. And she couldn't see through them, the curtains constantly obscuring her view. Donna's child-like curiosity wondered what exactly Lex hid behind those curtains. Was it a scar? Was she blind? No, no Lex couldn't be blind. She had been able to grab objects and knew actually where her hands were at all times and never bumped into anything. Additionally, during the tour Donna gave her, Lex had complimented the furniture and even a few of the dolls that had been seated around the house. So, what could Lex be hiding?

The kettle's high pitched scream, which sounded like a toddler having a temper-tantrum, told her that the water was finished boiling. She poured the hot water slowly into her cup, silently wondering what Lex was up to at Castle Dimitrescu and deciding to go upstairs and spend some time with Angie.

''Lex, would you be a dear and fetch me another bottle of wine?'' Lady Dimitrescu looked at the white haired woman. Lex dipped her head down and turned to the kitchen. The white haired woman stepped into the kitchen, disrupting a conversation the kitchen staff had been having.

''I apologize for bothering you, but would one of you please direct me to where the wine is stored? Lady Dimitrescu requested a bottle of wine, however I'm afraid I don't know where it is.'' the thick haired woman spoke in a monotone voice.

The maid with dark, wavy hair looks at the woman with awe-struck eyes, a pink hue dusting over her cheeks. The maid next to her had her dirty blonde hair tied back in a tight bun. ''Oh, are you new here? We haven't been expecting anyone new until next week.''

''Oh, no. I'm only for a little while. Lady Dimitrescu requested my presences until Lord Heisenberg leaves on his own or is most likely escorted off her property.'' she explained as quickly as she could, not wanting to make Lady Dimitrescu wait too long. The blonde maid nodded and approached her slowly, a small smile on her face. She extended her hand and shook Lex's hand.
