They looked down at the woman, seeing her eyes moving around under her eyelids, making small groans every now and then. She wasn't having the most restful sleep, but it was sleep nonetheless. After all, she had been awake for the past two days. They ran their fingers through her hair, sighing to themselves.

''This certainly isn't something I'd ever expect to see.'' Avals turned their head to see their opposite, Orim. The redhead didn't respond to them, not seeing any reason to. They just turned back to the woman who was resting their head on their lap unknowingly. Avals just continued running their fingers through the woman's white hair in a similar manner to how that Dollmaker lady did.

''I don't understand you. You threaten to kill Lex and now, you're being gentle? What's your justification for doing all of this?'' Orim blue eyes narrowed at The Beast Amongst Men.

Avals sighed heavily, closing their eyes. ''I shouldn't have to justify myself to you.''

''Killing and threatening to kill isn't justifiable, Avals.'' Orim crossed their arms.

Once more, Avals sighed. This time, they removed Lex's head from their lap as gently as they could; making sure the woman wasn't disturbed. The red haired entity stood up, turning to face Orim. ''I'm not in the mood for this.''

Orim just shook their head, their gaze falling onto Lex. They couldn't understand how Lex could have killed so many people but then again, she was angry at the time. So, so angry. And now, she had to carry that guilt because of Avals.

''Hey, Lex?'' Avals muttered, but Orim heard them. They turned to the red haired creature. The tips of their hair dripping red as they stared off into the vast, flat landscape all around them. A clear, blue sky forming above them. ''This world is starting to change. So, have you finished that sentence yet? Get up, get out there and-''

Lex's eyes opened. She was laying across a chair with something underneath her. Slowly, she pushed herself up. A hand was rested on her shoulder, gently pushing her back down. Confused, Lex turned so she was lying on her back. Gazing down at her with a book in hand, was Donna Beneviento.

''Hey cara mia, how did you sleep?'' she asked quietly.

''I think I slept alright. I'm feeling better.'' she answered which wasn't a lie. She was feeling better now that she managed to get some sleep. Sure, it wasn't the most restful, but it was better than nothing.

''That's good.'' Donna's hand left the woman's shoulder and travelled to Lex's fluffy hair, gently combing her fingers through the strands. ''What do you say we get something for you to eat? Something light so you don't get sick again.''

''That sounds nice.'' Lex muttered,  propping herself up carefully. Donna winced at the action and Lex froze, worried that she had hit a painful pressure point. ''Sorry, I-I didn't mean too.''

''It's alright My legs are asleep, that's all. You've been on my lap for the passed hour.'' she explained.

Lex brows creased. ''You should have woken me up, I would've moved off your legs earlier.''

''Absolutely not. I wasn't about to move. I was appreciating the beautiful woman laying on my lap.'' Donna smiled, leaning forwards just enough to give Lex a quick peck on the lips. She couldn't help but smile at the action as she carefully got off of Donna's legs and giving them sometime to regain feeling.

As soon as Lex got off of Donna however, Angie appeared in the doorway with a sinister grin plastered on her porcelain face. The Dollmaker pointed at the doll, a serious look on her face. ''Don't. You. Dare.'' she warned.
