As soon as Lex walked through the door, she wasn't in the void anymore. She was in an expensive looking room. The luxury didn't even begin to come close to Castle Dimitrescu but still, whoever lived here was definitely living in luxury.

Behind her, a door opened. She spun around on her heels and saw a woman. She was wearing a dark gray button up shirt and a darker overcoat on top of that. Like Kira and Lex, she had messy, snow white hair but it was tied back in a ponytail. One of her eyes were white while the other was a deep green colour. Looks like Avals was telling the truth.

Behind the woman was another Avals. This time, their hair hung down loosely, going down to the middle of their back. They seemed annoyed as Lex's ancestor opened a cabinet, pouring themselves of glass of what smelled like alcohol.

''You seem like you what to say something, Avals.'' she said, her voice calm and content.

''You find someone stealing your jewellery and instead of tearing them apart or getting angry, you give them pocket change? I don't under stand you.'' the creature crossed their arms, a look of disdain crossing their pale features.

''Just because they stole doesn't mean they deserve death. And besides, they need the money more than I do.'' she said, bringing her glass to her lips.

''What if they didn't actually need it?''

''The it is what it is.'' the woman answered.

''I don't understand you, Mary,'' Avals grumbled. Lex glanced at HER Avals. When they heard that name, they flinched.

''Well, I don't quite understand you either, but I want to try.'' the woman smiled a dazzling smile at the creature. The other Avals scoffed, a faint pink colour dusting over their cheeks before they disappeared. The woman, Mary, stared at were Avals had once stood before sighing to herself. ''I wonder... Avals... what have you gone through?''

The scene started to fade as Mary looked back down at her glass. The woman just kept looking at her glass. Lex couldn't help it, she stepped towards her. Orim tried to stop her but she didn't listen to them. Once she was in front of the desk, she reached towards her. Lex couldn't understand why she was acting this way, it was almost like her body was on autopilot. Before she could place a hand on Mary, her form shattered like glass and caused Lex's hand to recoil.

As soon as Mary's form shattered, they were in a different scene. The trio were outside, near docks were old ship stopped. The changes in environment was starting to make her head throb. When she reached for her head, she saw a few kids near the end of the dock. There were five of them, all surrounding one other kid with white tipped hair and the rest an onyx black colour. The six bullies laughed and laughed at the kid.

Lex started walking towards the kids, intending to stop the bullies, unsure she could even stop them. But it was her mind, shouldn't she be able to stop them?

When the kid finally decided to stand up for themselves, the bullies started pushing them around. The bullies were all laughing and eventually, one of them stepped out of the way, saying ''oops'' in a mocking tone. Lex started running for the kid when they slipped, falling towards the water. An image flashed before her eyes and she could help but shout.

''ALEXIS!'' Lex dove towards the falling kid, absolute terror filling the child's eyes. She reached for them, they didn't completely fall off yet. She could grab them. She was going to grab them. She was finally going to be able save Alexis!

Her heart sank when her fingers wrapped around the child's wrist and fazed through them. Lex fell with a heavy thud that nearly knocked the wind out of her as Alexis fell into the water. The bullies leaned over the dock, laughing at the flailing child. Lex quickly scrambled over to the edge and peered over it. The child... was no longer Alexis. It wasn't her sister. Just someone she mistook for Alexis.
