Lex groaned, nuzzling into the soft thing supporting her head. She struggled to force her exhausted eyes open, slowly pushing herself up on her weakened arms. Once she was sitting up, she stretched, a satisfying popping sound coming from her spine. Her mind a little fuzzy as she slipped out of the bed and slowly recalled the events that had occurred. She blinked a few more times, her mind finally catching up with the environment around her.

She was in the basement. In Donna Beneviento's room. In her bed. And Donna's wasn't next to her. Wait Donna wasn't next to her!

Lex's head snapped to her side, seeing the covers ruffled. Donna and Angie must have already gotten up. The white haired woman let out a sigh and slowly stood up, walking out into the hallway. Halfway to the kitchen, she heard a giggle and stopped dead in her tracks like she had run into a dead end.

She slowly turned around, her arms shaking. The hallways behind her seemed to stretch and the walls looked like they were melting. The white haired woman shook her head and turned around to continue on her way. But she was met with a hard surface. The woman quickly stepped back, reaching up to her nose when she felt something dripping from her nostrils. She looked down at the tips of her fingers, blood coating it. She turned around and used the back of her hand to wipe the blood away and began to walk the only way that was left to go.

Lex's heart hammered in her chest, her breathing becoming unsteady. Her eyes darted from side to side, the giggles echoing all around. The floorboards beneath let out ear shredding squeaks and creaks as the walls around her began to age. Dust began to overcome the walls and eventually, began to crack and vegetation grow from said cracks.

She took a few more steps forward, one of the now rotten floorboards couldn't hold the weight of her body and gave out from under her. She fell through the boards with a splash, being submerged in the water that was under the boards. The woman looked up at the surface and began to claw her way towards her shimmering salvation. As soon as she was about to break through the surface, her nail scraped against the wood above that had appeared out of nowhere.

Lex's eyes widened as she tried to push the rotten floorboards up to break free. Her lungs began to burn from not inhaling as she began to claw at the boards like a person buried alive. There was an echoing tapping on the floorboards above her. It stopped and a muffled voice called out for her. Even if it was hard to hear, it sounded like Donna.

Lex began to panic and started hammering her fists against the boards to try and get Donna's attention. The tapping above her resumed and began to move further away. The drowning woman let out a bubbly scream, her head feeling like it was about to explode from not exhaling. Still, Donna couldn't hear her walked away.

The woman's chest grew tight and barbed wire wrapped around her corrupted lungs. She banged against the floorboards desperately, her survival instincts beginning to kick in now that she was losing oxygen. Then something wrapped around her ankle and began to drag her into the abyss under her. The woman tried to fight off whatever invisible force was dragging her further under water. Water began to spill down her throat and fill her lungs as she was dragged to the depths.

Then, she fell from a ceiling, back first. Half of her body landed on a bed before her chest slammed against the harsh floor under her. What little air was in her lungs and a great deal of water was forced out of her lungs. She let out loud, gagging coughs. Her entire body was dripping with cold water as she scanned her new surroundings. Her eyes went wide and she took in a sharp inhale which caused her to cough up more water.

The room she was in was rundown with a broken bed and a single, frosted over window. There was a busted closet and a few broke toys littering the floor. It was all too familiar and her breathing became frantic and uneven. She tried to stifle her heavy breathing by covering her mouth with her shaking hand.
