It had been a few days since Donna and Lex had gotten into a relationship. But it wasn't all peace and love. Heisenberg had called earlier, saying that he met Ethan Winters and told him that he'll give him the flask he has. As long as Mother Miranda was missing only one flask, the ceremony would be incomplete. But they couldn't just keep one piece to help Ethan but if they took too many Mother Miranda would step in and that would make things much more difficult. Besides, Mother Miranda was the only one who knows how to complete the ceremony and put Rose Winters back together. But a question still remained: Why hasn't Mother Miranda called Donna or the other Lords to get to the ceremony site?

Lex traced small circles with the tips of her finger along Donna's shoulder blade. They had been laying on the couch for the past hour and a half, taking a break from planning and going through draft after draft. It was taking a toll on Lex, but it was more so with Donna so frequent breaks were needed. Thankfully, Donna was taking a nap on her chest. It was peaceful. Even Angie was asleep.

She couldn't help but chuckle. She highly doubted just anyone would be able to walk into this weird little world of monsters and Lords. Despite this chaotic and stressing planning, Lex couldn't help but feel lucky. Lucky that even if she died, she'd have died having met Donna and Angie. There was no doubt in her mind that when Mother Miranda found out about the plan, she'd be the first to go.

Lex's mind must have dwelled on the thought longer than she should have since Donna began to stir from her sleep. ''Lex?''

The snowy haired woman looked down at her partner. ''I'm right here. Sorry, did I wake you.''

Donna looked up and rubbed her eye. ''No, it's not that.'' the Dollmaker moved closer, nuzzling into Lex's collarbone. ''I just... I just felt like y-you weren't with me anymore and I g-got scared.''

''Hey, it's alright. I'm right here.'' Lex said, kissing Donna's forehead.

Then, there was a loud knock on the door. Both Donna and Lex sat up, Angie falling off of Donna's lower back and landing on Lex's legs. All three women looked towards the front door. Taking a quick sniff, Lex's nose scrunched. The raven haired woman turned to her partner.

''What is it? Who is it?''

Whoever it is, they have no scent. Lex wanted to say but instead, just shrugged as she placed her eyepatch over her left eye. ''I'm not sure. I don't recognize the scent.''

Slowly, Lex slipped out from under Donna and got up. The Dollmaker picked up Angie and went with the snowy haired woman. Swallowing hard, Lex opened the door just a crack. Her eyes went wide as she opened the door fully. ''Winters?''

''Hey.'' the man gave them a small wave. The bandages around his fingers were still stained with dried blood and there was a long gun on his back along with a bag. Lex looked curiously at the man. He had dark bags under his eyes like he hadn't gotten proper rest in quite a while. Then again, getting proper rest must have been far off his priority list since he was also being hunted by lycans.

Lex stepped to the side, gesturing for him to come on. The man hesitantly stepped inside, no doubt seeing how tense Lex had become. ''Good after noon, Ethan. You can hang you coat there.'' Donna said, trying to be hospitable.

''Thank you, but if it's alright, I'd rather keep my jacket.'' the man with light brown hair said. Donna nodded, holding Angie close to her.

''Would you like some tea?''

''I'd kill for some coffee.'' he sighed. Donna flinched at the statement and a growl erupted from Lex's throat. Winters raised his hands, ''Figure of speech. I-I'd like some tea.''
