''Alexandria.'' A garbled, high pitched voice echoed in her mind as she struggled to open her eyes. It took her a few moments to finally force her eyes open. She was laying on cold, rough ground, a person standing over top of her with a staticky, distorted sky above them. The person had a ripped and torn shirt that barely covered their body. One of their pant legs had been ripped off, revealing multiple scars littering their lean muscles and gray skin. The tips of their white hair were dripping a thick crimson colour.

''Alexandria,'' the voice said her name again in a sing-song tone. ''I was about to kill him if you didn't stop me. If you start pulling this shit you're going to get us both killed.'' the voice had trouble getting it's words out, tearing out what little air it had in its lungs in order to speak.

Lex just glared at the beast, not saying anything to it.

''Come on Alexandria, don't be like that. Remember, you're only strong and alive now because of ME.'' The beast said in a condescending tone, dropping to its' knees. It grabbed her shoulders and pinned her down. Lex didn't move or try to escape, not wanting to show this beast any sign of fear. To this beast, fear was a death sentence.

A wide, malicious smile crossed it's black lips. The beasts' eyes had the same crazed look like those of the wild men who roam the hills; who chatter with rabbits. ''Next time I'm trying to save you and clean up your fucking mess, don't interfere!''

''Why do you not want me to interfere if you just want me dead?'' Lex asked, genuinely curious about the irrational thoughts of this mirror image of herself.

''I already told you why before.'' the beast paused, gripping roughly onto her shoulders, its black talons digging into her shoulders. ''You're going to die, but I'M the one who will kill you, don't you go forgetting that!'' it laughed, spit flying from its mouth and landing on her skin.

Everything went dark again.

Lex's eyes were met with something soft covering them. It was dark, but she could faintly see through the cloth that was obscuring her vision. She flexed her fingers and toes slowly, making sure she could move them. To her surprise, she was able to move all but her left fingers with little difficulty. Carefully, she moved her right arm back and propped herself up on her elbow, the cloth that was covering her eyes fell from her face and onto her chest.

She blinked a few times until her vision cleared. She was in her room at House Beneviento, but she had no recollection of ever returning. She remembered getting into a fight with Lord Heisenberg, being on a cold table and someone holding her hand but nothing else afterwards.

She looked down and saw the cloth that had been covering her eyes. It was her blue scarf. The rest of her body was also covered by a blanket, a few pillows keeping her leg elevated. Her left arm was in a cast that went from the middle of her bicep to the middle of her hand. Her entire torso was wrapped in white bandages going from her collarbone all the way down to just above her crotch. From what she could feel, something was holding her skin together in several different places. She could even feel something holding her muscles and tendons together in her chest, abdomen and leg. There were a few band-aids along the left side of her face and something poking into her right hand.

Lex looked down to see a tube going into her hand the led to a bag of clear fluids and another bag of red fluids in it. There was a chair next to her bed too and off to the side, a wheelchair.

Lex carefully sat up, trying not to move the wrong way on what she would assume were her stitches. As she sat up, the door opened. As quickly as she could she closed her eyes and covered them with her hand to make sure her eyes weren't seen, but she couldn't see either.
