Lex groaned as dull sunlight shined through her window. Sitting up with a yawn, she stretched her limbs and heard a satisfying crack from her spine. She tossed her covers off of her and got up, groaning as she walked to her closet. She pulled out a black tank top and her blue flannel to go over top it and a pair of blue jeans. She quickly changed into her clothes for the day and reached into her bag, grabbing her tooth brush and tooth paste before reaching for her eyepatch. She slipped it on her head before leaving her room to go to the bathroom. As soon as she was in the hallway, her nose twitched due to an earthy metallic stench in the air, coming from the first floor.

Lex looked towards the stairs, the stench being all to concerning to ignore. She slowly made her way towards the stairs, the smell getting stronger and stronger. She looked down the stairs, her hands on the cherry coloured railing. It took her a moment to comprehend what exactly she was looking at. The usual cream coloured walls were splattered with a thick, red liquid the dripped to the floor. There was bloody hand prints on the walls and bloodied, frantic foot prints.

She quickly rushed down the stairs, her stomach churning with each step. There was so much blood. As soon as she made it to the first floor, she slipped and hit her head, dropping the items in her hand. The blood soaked into her already stained hair. She groaned, her stomach doing gymnastics as she pushed herself up. Her sense of smell was invaded as her feet slid around on the floor. She stumbled along the ground and she followed a trail of blood that led further into the house.

Her heart hammered in her chest as she followed the trail. Her palms were clammy and she could taste the bile rising in the back of her throat. She finally turned into one of of the hallways and froze in place.

Standing in front of her, with his face splatter and hands caked in blood, was Ethan Winters. Beneath him lay the unmoving Donna Beneviento. Her skin was ghostly white, her mouth open as if she was screaming and her eye clouded over; laying in a pool of her own blood. Lex couldn't hold it in anymore. She doubled over and threw up, the acid from her stomach burning her throat on the way out.

She quickly turned to Donna's lifeless body, still wiping bile from her mouth. Her eye slowly moved to Winters, who held no remorse nor regret in his eyes. Her blood began to boil and her vision went red. She charged at him and tackled him to the ground. Pinning him to the blood stained ground, she began to ram her fists into his face with all her might. Her concealed eye began to throb and her nails grew into claws. She tugged him by the collar of his jacket and pinned him against the wall. The man's heart beat only once as Lex rammed her claws into his stomach and tore his intestines from him.

He fell to the ground, even more blood spilling onto the floorboards. He wasn't able to utter a single word or whimper due to Lex grabbing him by the hair and ripping his head clean off his shoulders. She drew in laboured breaths, tossing Winters' decapitated head violently against the wall with a thump. The white haired woman turned back to the lifeless Donna and slowly stumbled towards her.

She fell to her knees and dragged Donna onto her lap. Her tears spilled from her eyes, her hands caked in Winters and Donna's blood. She gently brushed the Dollmaker's raven coloured hair from her face.

''Donna?'' Lex gently shook the woman's corpse. ''Come on Donna. Please don't do this. Come on, please, wake up.'' she silently begged. But Donna didn't respond. Heavy sobs rang out throughout the house as Lex clutched onto the Dollmaker's corpse, which slowly began to crystalize.

She hadn't cried this hard ever since Alexis was murdered.

Suddenly, black goo erupted from her mouth, eyes, ears and nose; which slowly began to over take her face. She dropped Donna's corpse and tried desperately to rip away to goo. Her blood burned in her veins as she tried to fight off her transformation. She writhed and wriggled on the ground, screaming in despair.
