CHAPTER SIXTEEN Steve's Lost His "Game" ╚════∘◦☆◦∘════╝
BREAKFAST IS ONE of the most important meals of the day, and thankfully Luna set her alarm to give her enough time to get ready and eat before heading to work. The other day she had to snack on the sugar cones and tiny taste spoonfuls of icecream just to keep herself energized until her lunch break, it wasn't a good time.
She walked down the stairs of her house and found her sister pouring cereal into a bowl, she quickly grabbed a bowl of her own and Max handed her the box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Luna then poured some of the cereal into her bowl and was given the milk to pour after Max went to sit down at the table. Luna put away the box of cereal and the jug before sitting down at the table to eat.
"So, what do you have planned for today?" Luna asked before shoveling a spoonful of cereal past her lips and chewed lightly as the taste of cinnamon flooded her mouth.
"Well, Dustin comes back today so we're gonna surprise him with his toys and Eleven's powers!" Max said excitedly before eating a spoonful of her cereal.
She was really glad she and Max were the only ones in the house that afternoon, Billy was at work at his job at the pool and her mom and... Neil were working like they did everyday.
Luna's brows raised in interest, "How do you plan to do that?"
"We're thinking of making all of his robots and other things move by themselves, he's gonna be so surprised." Max said giddily with a smile on her lips.
Luna tilted her head, "So, you mean you guys are gonna scare him?"
"No, he's gonna love it!" Max replies.
Luna snorts, "I'm sure he will once he realizes it's you guys and not a ghost." She eats a bit more of her cereal.
Max rolls her eyes, "Even if he does get scared I'm sure he'll just scream and then he'll realize it was all Eleven."
Luna chuckled as she finished up her cereal with a few bites knowing she had to get going soon, "Never underestimate how far a person who's scared will go."
Max's brows furrow, "What's that supposed to mean?"
Luna stands up and dips her spoon into the bowl and places it into the sink. "Just don't be surprised if someone gets punched in the face, alright?" She runs some hot water into the bowl after she pours the milk out and then she squeezes a little soap in the water so it will soak and clean itself.
