CHAPTER SEVENTEEN Dustin's Back! ╚════∘◦☆◦∘════╝
TODAY WAS A VERY busy day and Luna was fucking starving, she made her way to the back room where Steve was and walked to the employee tracker. She put down that she was going on break in blue ink and hung the pen in the holder. She walked over to her best friend and thumped him in the temple as he was counting the inventory items.
"Ow!" Steve exclaimed as he looked up at her, "Why do you do that everytime you need something?"
Luna grinned, "Because it's funny." Steve rolls his eyes in response, "I'm going on lunch, be right back."
"15 minutes." Steve tells her as she walks out of the room.
"I'll be back before that!" She shouts as she rushes through the parlor and heads to Burger King which was just two stores down.
She stood in line for a little bit checking her watch to make sure she got back on time, she quickly ordered herself a chicken sandwich, large fries and a cocacola. Once she pulled out her wallet and paid she checked her watch and realized she had 5 minutes to get back, she makes her way back to Scoop's with haste and she walks to the back making it with 2 minutes to spare.
"You got Burger King this time?" Steve asked as she walked back in the room.
She sits on the counter, placed down her drink and opens her bag, "How'd you know?"
Steve turned around, "I know Burger King when I smell Burger King."
"Ah, well I got a large fry if you're hungry." She said pulling out the paper container filled with the golden french fries.
"Ooh, gimme." Steve replied.
Luna hopped off the counter and walked over to her best friend with the fries in her hand, she pulled a few out and held them out. "Open." Steve opened his mouth and she delicately placed the three fries in his mouth. "You're welcome." She says grabbing some for herself.
"F'ankchu." Steve said with his mouth filled with fries making Luna cringe.
"Don't talk with your mouth full." She scolded him before popping a few fries past her lips.
Steve scoffed after he swallowed, "Okay, mom, geez." She rolled her eyes and sat back down on the counter, she placed down her fries and pulled out her chicken sandwich, once she unwrapped it she took a bite.
