HERE'S THE FUNNY thing about feelings, they get stronger the more you spend time with someone. And Luna was pretty sure her feelings for Steve had trippled in just 8 hours. While everyone else slept she and the dark haired teen was talking up a storm for hours since they just couldn't sleep. She could say whole heartedly that her favorite thing to do was lose track of time by talking to Steve.
As sappy as it sounded she could talk to him for hours and never get tired of his warm voice, the laugh that bubbles from his soft and plush red lips, and the sparkle in his memorizing dark coffee brown irises. And she can't forget his smile... god, his smile could light up her entire day with just a glance of it.
Ugh, she was so fucked.
Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of clanging, she looked up and noticed Erica banging the cylinder of neon green shit against the table. Her eyes widened and she rushed over to the younger girl and pulled it out of her hands.
"Dude, what the fuck are you doing?"
"Yeah, we don't even know what that is." Robin agrees standing next to Luna.
"Exactly. It could be useful." Erica replied.
"Useful how?"
"We can survive down here a long time without food, but if the human body doesn't get water it will die." Erica stated matter of a factly.
Luna pinches her brow, "Let me say this... very clearly. This. Is Not. Water."
"No, but it's a liquid." Erica says, "And if it comes down to me drinking that shit or dying of thirst. I drink."
Luna rolls her eyes and Erica snatches the object out of her hand, she's too busy watching Robin walk over to the wall and place her ear to it to really care what Erica does in the moment.
"Robby, what's wrong?"
The blonde turns to her with wide eyes, "Someone's coming, go warn the boys."
Luna nods and rushes off to climb the table, she pushes herself up the vent shaft and pokes her head up. "Hey, we've got company."
Steve's eyes widen, "What are you waiting for, all of you get up here." He hisses before grabbing Luna by her hand and pulling her up, next was Erica and then Robin was being pulled up by Steve and Dustin with Erica's backpack and equipment.
