~Fluffy and Merry Christmas Princess~

Y/n Pov: 

Harry, Ron, Hermione and I were walking along a path talking with Hagrid. " Nonsense! Why would Snape put a curse on Harry's broom?" Hagrid asked. " Who knows? Why was he trying to get past that three-headed dog on Halloween?" Harry said to Hagrid. 

" Who told you 'bout Fluffy?" Hagrid questioning us.  " Fluffy?" Ron asked. " That thing has a name?" Hermione spoked. "  Well, of course he's got a name. He's mine. I bought him off an Irish feller I met down at the pub last year. Then I lent him to Dumbledore to guard the.." Hagrid stopped. 

"Yes?" I said. " Shouldn't have said that. No more questions! Don't ask any more questions. That's top secret, that is." Hagrid said trying to end the topic.  " But, Hagrid, whatever Fluffy's guarding, Snape's trying to steal it." I said looking at him. " Codswallop. Professor Snape is a Hogwarts teacher." Hagrid said. Hermione spoke up " Hogwarts teacher or not, I know a spell when I see one. I've read all about them. You've got to keep eye contact and Snape wasn't blinking." 

"Exactly!" I said to Hagrid. " Now, you listen to me, all three of you. You're meddling in things that ought not to be meddled in. It's dangerous. What that dog is guarding is strictly between Dumbledore and Nicholas Flamel." Hagrid said. " Nicholas Flamel?" Harry and I said at the same time. " I shouldn't said that. I should not have said that." Hagrid said looking away then he leaves, mumbling to himself the same thing. 

"Nicholas Flamel." Harry said to Himself. "Who's Nicholas Flamel?" He asked all of us. "I'm not sure but I've heard of that name before..." I said to all three of them. " Lets go to the library and see if we can find anything!" Harry said, and with that we went and start searching. 

-Time Skip- 

It is now Christmas at Hogwarts. I'm sitting reading about potions while Harry and Ron plays chess, as I see Hermione walks to the Great Hall entrance with her luggage and wearing a scarf as the ghosts are singing Christmas songs. 

" Knight to E5." Harry said and his knight moves. Ron took awhile to move and was thinking for while. " Queen to E5." Ron said smirking at Harry and his queen moved and pulled out a chair and hit harry's knight. " Thats totally barbaric!" Hermione said. "Well thats wizard's chess" Ron replied. 

"I see you've packed" Ron said. "See you haven't" Hermione says back. "Change of plans, my parents decided to go to Romania to visit my brother Charlie. He's studying dragons there!" Ron responded. " Good, you can help Harry and Y/n then. He's going to go and look in the library for information on Nicholas Flamel." Hermione said. "We've looked a hundred times!" Ron said looking annoyed "  Not in the restricted section." Hermione said smirking at us. 

" Wow, Hermione telling us to go to the restricted section" I said jokingly. "I have my mischievous moments, Happy Christmas!" She said leaving us. "I think we've had a bad influence on her." Ron said. " Well guys its getting late and I want to get a goodnight rest, I'll meet you guys tomorrow!" I said getting my stuff and head to the common room of Slytherin. 

I made it the the common room and sat on the couch going to write to Lupin since I really missed him a lot. I was basically the only Slytherin who is staying in Hogwarts and everyone is going back home for the holidays, since Lupin is busy with things.
