~The Breaking Point~

Y/n Pov: 

Draco and I left Hogwarts the moment we could and went straight home to rest. Draco and I were hoping we wouldn't have to do anything at all and that we can rest for the break. Draco really needed to rest and eat food, and I needed to rest and relax. 

Draco and I went to our room and unpack. At some point Draco and I started sleeping in my room so he just unpacked his things in my room. "Y/n I need to use that favor..." Draco said suddenly. "Yea what do you need me to do..?" I asked as I was pulling out my things out of my luggage. " I-I need you to do my task..." Draco said. "Uh Draco but thats yours... You can do it I know you can." I said walking over to him.

"If anyone sees me heading someone the chances they'll follow me is high. If you walk around no one would care." Draco said. He has a good point but I guess I'm just stubborn. "Didn't you say to Professor Snape that-" "I KNOW WHAT I SAID!" Draco yelled at me making me stop myself from speaking. " I'm sorry I'll go..." I said but got stopped by Draco who grabbed my hand. "Love I'm... sorry..." Draco said looking down on the ground. 

" I know...I'll do it... You need to rest." I said. "I'll do your task." Draco said making me shocked. "Wait Draco, you sure you can... kill Dumbledore?" I said with fear and worry in my eyes. "Love I bet you can't even point your wand at him." Draco said making me chuckle knowing that he's got a point. "You sure this is really what you want?" I asked holding his hand. "Yes, I rather have the name of a murderer then you. " Draco said kissing my lips passionately. 

As we were having a moment I heard the door knocking making us pull way from the kiss and I went over to the door and opened it revealing Ms. Malfoy. "You both are needed... He wants you both." Narssica said with fear obviously in her eyes making me scared out of my mind. 

We both headed out to the meeting room in the Malfoy Manor with Narssica behind us both making Draco and I scared out of our minds. As we entered in the room we see many Death Eaters turn their heads and in the far back of the table I saw Voldemort grinning at us. 

"I was wondering when you both would come." Voldemort said. "You must be Monica's daughter. I heard so much about you." He said looking at me then my mother. "You both sit down." Voldemort said as two chair were brought in making us sit across facing Voldemort. 

" You both are here because of your failed attempt to kill Dumbledore and to fix the Vanishing Cabinet. Now I know you both are still learning and is new to all of this... But, you all failed too many times!" Voldemort said raising his voice at us.

 I was very confused since we only failed twice which isn't too much. " Lucious, I trusted you would get everything under control, but since you failed, risking too much... If those two doesn't succeed in the task... well lets say Nagini will have a feast with two juicy meat." Voldemort said looking at Mr. Malfoy who didn't look well, he had eyes bags, his hair was very dry and he was starting to grow a beard. 

"Think about what I said, you fail or your son fails, you'll lose your only son and your future daughter-in-law..." Voldemort said making Lucious stiffen. 

The moment I heard all that Draco and I will be killed if we fail, I turned pale and felt shivers going down my spine. Now our lives are on the line... I didn't know what to do, I looked over to my mother for comfort or for her to say something but she didn't, all she did was smile and nod like a crazy person... 

" Do you both understand your task? Or have I not been clear?" Voldemort said with a stern tone. "Y-yes sir..." Draco said with his head down not looking up. "Ms. Black?" Voldemort called me making me stiff. " Y-y-yes... sir..." I said trying to not cry in front of everyone. " Alright glad we can agree on this, off you two go." Voldemort said making two Death Eaters lift us up from our seats and lead us out of the meeting room to our bedroom.

The moment our bedroom door closed I lost it... 

All I could remember was crying none stop and Draco just didn't move. Both of us hit our breaking point. We couldn't handle it any longer... We just wanted our lives back... We wanted to be kids again... Life became shit ever since I met my mother.. Draco and I didn't know what to do now. Our parents didn't really do much and didn't really comfort us, our friends wouldn't want to be anywhere near us so... We only had each other to rely on.

"Y/n... come here..." Draco said as I slowly walk over to him and felt his arms around me. "We need to finish our task..." I said sniffling. " I know..." Draco said. After a while we soon walked to our bed and sat down thinking of how our lives will end. 

" Can you tell Professor Snape... I...need his help..." Draco said to me. "He was going to help either way, I told him to help us when you left..." I said as we both sit in quietness. 

"I haven't told you something..." Draco said suddenly getting my attention. " Go on, what is it?" I asked. " I did this on my own but I got Madam Rosemerta to poison a drink. Since Professor Slughorn and Dumbledore known each other for a while, I thought maybe he could give it to him which he has in his possession right now." Draco said making me grin. 

"Thats great... but what if it doesn't work?" I asked now worried about Voldemort. " He won't know, I did it on my own, we just won't say a word." Draco said making me feel a bit relaxed now.

"Don't worry love... we are almost done..." Draco said.
