- Choose Wisely - ( Draco x Y/n )

~The Battle~

Y/n Pov:

As Harry and I walked down the stairs we saw Ron, Hermione and Draco waiting for us as the grand stairs was empty and destroyed. "Where have you been?" Hermione asked as Draco embraced me. "We thought you were going to the forbidden forest." Ron said. "I'm going there now." Harry said making all of us freeze.

"Are you mad? No! You can't give yourself up to him."I added making Harry stop. "What is it Harry? What is it that you know? Hermione asked. "There is a reason I can hear them. The Horcruxes. I think I've know for a while. And I think you have to." Harry said making slowly tear up.

"I'll go with you." Hermione said as she cries. "No. Kill the snake. Kill the snake and that's all." Harry said but then Hermione rushes over and hugs Harry tightly. I soon then rushed over and hugged Harry as well.

Harry soon let go of the hug and turned away not looking back. "It's okay love..." Draco said as all four of us watches Harry walk down the stairs to his doom. "He's going to be okay..." Ron said as we all stood and watch. 

-Time Skip-

"Drink this, it will help." I said as Hermione, Draco, Ron and I with some others were tending to the wounded as we waited for Harry to come back safely. "What's taking him so long?" Ron asked as we all waited.

"Not too sure, but he'll be back soon... I hope." Draco said as we continued. "They're here!" A student yelled alerting everyone. "Who?" Another student asked. "Voldemort..." They said making everyone start chattering in panic. "Is Harry...?" I asked the four and saw them realizing he's not back...

As we all slowly walked out of the great hall we found ourselves across of the Death Eaters with Hagrid holding Harry...

"Harry Potter is dead!" Voldemort said loudly. "No! NO!" Ginny yelled as Arthur holds Ginny back. "Silence!" Voldemort said as everyone slowly walks out as Draco and I stood a bit behind hiding us from the Death Eaters.

"Stupid girl. Harry Potter is dead... From this day forth... You put your faith in me. Harry Potter is Dead!" Voldemort said making the Death Eaters laugh at us. 

"And now it's time to declare yourselves. Come forward and join us... Or die." Voldemort said but no one said a word or moved.

"Draco. Y/n. Come.... Now." Lucius said to both of us as we stood there frozen. "Draco... Y/n.... Come..." Narcissa said softly to us and I felt Draco slowly moving forward.

"Draco no stop... Don't..." I said pulling him back. "Y/n, maybe this will change your mind." I heard my mom's voice and saw her holding Vinny's hand's who looked frightened. "Mom... Don't you dare." I said glaring at her. "Then come." She said but I just stood there.

"Either you come or she'll take your place." Mom said making me shock in disbelief. "She's only a child!" I said loudly. "And it will be easy. She'll listen to me better than you." Mom said.

"I'll go if you let Vinny go." I said to my mom who burst out laugh and so did the death eaters. "Are you bloody mental?" Mom asked. "Enough...I'll allow." Voldemort said making them all stop laughing. 

Soon I watch as my mom nudges Vinny off of her and I watch as Vinny rushes over to me as I embraced her. "Like what you just promised." Voldemort said making me slowly tear up. "I love you, I'm sorry." I said as I removed Vinny off of me as she also started tearing up.

Soon I watch as Professor McGonagall hold's Vinny aside as I watch her trying to break free from her. "Thank you..." I said to Professor as I turned to Draco who was already holding out his hand to get mine.

"Love let's go..." Draco said pulling my hand softly making me nod and walked with him. I then slowly looked to my sides and saw everyone staring at us both as we betrayed them and join Voldemort. 

"Well done you two... well done." Voldemort said as he awkwardly embraced us as we both stood there frozen. As we walked to the death eater's side Narcissa embraces Draco as I turned to look at my classmates and saw Neville limping to Voldemort a bit.

"Well I must say, I hoped for better." Voldemort said as everyone started laughing. "And who might you be, young man." Voldemort asked. "Neville Longbottom." Neville said making everyone including Bellatrix to laugh again.

"Well Neville, I guess I can find you a place in our rank." Voldemort said. "I'd like to say something." Neville said. "Well Neville, I bet we will all be fascinated to hear what you have to say." Voldemort said.

"It doesn't matter is Harry's gone." Neville said. "Stand down Neville!" Seamus said. "People die everyday. Friends, family... yeah we lost Harry tonight. He's still with us... in here." Neville said pointing to his heart. "So is Fred... Remus... Tonks... All of them. They didn't die in vein... But you will because you're wrong Harry did everything for us! For all of us!" Neville yelled but then I saw Draco grab my hand as he then pulled out his wand and threw it towards Harry who then hopped off of Hagrid and caught the wand.

"Harry!" I yelled in shock as he was alive.

"Hurry!" Draco said as he and I ran back to our classmates to fight. We all then watch as Voldemort trying to shoot Harry and we watch as some Death Eaters escape and some started attacking us.

We all soon then started the battle. I then turned and saw Narcissa nodding at Draco and I as she and Lucious walked off not wanting to be in the battle.

"Love, let's end this." Draco said as he and I started battling death eaters. "As I was fighting a death eater I was instantly shot back and fell to the ground and saw my mother holding Vinny again.

"You thought I'd let her go that easily?" Mom said to me. "I thought you'd leave us alone." I said as I shot a spell at my mother as I saw Draco busy fighting another one. I soon then shot my mother some more but she over powered me. "You're truly your father's daughter." Mother said laughing at my weakness.

"You never loved father! You used him only to get back at Snape!" I said making her eyes widen. "How do you know that? HOW!" Mother said raging. "I saw it! You're pathetic! Using an amazing man just in spit of another!" I said making her smirk at me.

"This time, I'll make sure all you're father's memories will be forgotten!" Mom said as I knew the spell she was gonna use. "Avada Kedavra!" She shot out but I then I saw it deflected and saw it turning back to my mom hitting her making her fall to the ground.

I then turned around but didn't find anyone who used the shield spell on me... "Y/n!" Draco yelled rushing over to me as he spotted my mom's body on the ground and saw Vinny rushing over to me again. "Okay, you're not staying here." I said to her as Draco helped me up.

I soon turned and saw Molly Weasley fighting another Death eater making me rush over. "Molly can you take care of Vinny while we finish this fight!?" I asked making her nod. "Of course. Go now!" Molly said hiding Vinny behind her as she continues to fight.

"We need to find Harry!" I said to Draco as I dodge and right more death eaters.

Sorry for not uploading this story for a while. I've been busy and tried to figure out what to write here. School, work and other personal thing shave been keeping me busy so hopefully I can finish this soon. Also planning on posting a new book so hopefully that goes well and yah!
