- Choose Wisely - ( Draco x Y/n )

Y/n Pov: 

That same day we had our Dueling club with Professor Lockhart, and earlier I made a bet with Pansy that Professor Lockhart will do something embarrassing or say something stupid. 

" Gather round, gather round! Can everybody see me? Can you all hear me? "Lockhart said chuckling as the students stand near the long platform.

" Excellent! In light of the dark events of recent weeks, Professor Dumbledore has granted me permission to start this little Dueling Club to train you all up in case you ever need to defend yourselves, as I myself have done on countless occasions- for full details, see my published works." Professor Lockhart said pulling off his cape throwing it towards a group of fan girls. 

"Let me introduce my assistant, Professor Snape. He has sportingly agreed to help me with a short demonstration. Now, I don't want any of you youngsters to worry- you'll still have your Potions master when I'm through with him, never fear." He said walking to the center of the platform and Professor Snape also walking to the center. 

As they both pull out their wands and then they bow and walked way from each other. " One, two, three-" Professor Lockhart said confidently. " Expelliarmus!" Snape said and sent Lockhart flying backwards. " Pansy pay up" I said tauntingly, Pansy ends up handing over 3 Galleons. " Fuck you." She said pissed off making me smirk.  

" An excellent idea to show them that, Professor Snape, but if you don't mind me saying, it was pretty obvious... what you were about to do. And if I had wanted to stop you, it would have been only too easy." Professor Lockhart said walking towards Snape. 

"Perhaps it would be prudent to first teach the students to block unfriendly spells, Professor."  Snape suggested. "An excellent suggestion, Professor Snape! Ah... Let's have a volunteer pair! Um, Potter, Weasley, how about you?" Professor Lockhart said. 

" Weasley's wand causes devastation with the simplest spells. We'll be sending Potter to the hospital wing in a matchbox. Might I suggest someone from my own house? Malfoy, perhaps?" Snape motioned Draco to get on the Platform. 

"Oh gosh... This won't end well" I said to Pansy. "I bet you 5 Galleons that something will happen with Draco or Harry." Pansy said. "Deal" I said shaking her hand. 

As I look back Harry and Draco  are at the center of the platform holding their wands to their face. I then see Draco saying something but I had no clue so I expected some smack talk with those two. Then they both started to walk away and took their stance. 

"On the count of three, cast your charms to disarm your opponent- only to disarm. We don't want any accidents. One, two- - 

" Everte statium!" Draco said making Harry spin in the air falling on his side, making all the Slytherins chuckle. Harry then got up and spoke. " Rictusempra!" making Draco also fly and land on his butt making the others laugh at him.

 Snape then picked up Draco pushing him towards Harry. " I said disarm only!" Professor Lockhart said. " Serpensortia!" Draco said then a snake flew out from his wand to the platform making everyone shocked. 

"Don't move, Potter. I'll get rid of it for you." Snape said. " Allow me, Professor Snape. Alarte ascender" Professor Lockhart said making the snake fly up but fell back down doing nothing to it.  

Harry started to walk towards the snake a spoke. "Sya-hassa- shee. Sya hasi heth. Sya  hasi- heth." Harry said looking at the snake who was looking at a Hufflepuff student. "Vipera evenesca." Snape said then the snake disappeared. Everyone was silent and confused. 

" What are you playing at?" The Hufflepuff boy said to Harry. The whole room was filled withs silence and stares at Harry who looked very confused on what just happened. 

"Pay.. up.." Pansy whispers to me. "I hate you." I said whispering handing over 5 Galleons to her. 

- Time Skip- 

Later that night we were all at the study hall doing some of our work. As I was sitting with the trio there was a lot of whispering from the other students talking about Harry. 

Hermione, Ron and I all see Harry is getting a bit uncomfortable from all of the attention he is getting. " I'll see you two in the common room and Y/n I'll see you tomorrow." Harry said getting his books.

"Harry.." I said. "Yes?" Harry asked. " Don't worry about what the others think and just ignore them, you did nothing wrong." I said making harry smirk and nod at me. Once Harry left the students went from whispers to loud talking. Geez... 

" I really feel bad for Harry, every bad thing is happening to him.." I said making Ron and Hermione look at each other. " Yea we know, But maybe we can help Harry some way" Ron said.

 I just hope nothing bad will happen this school year...
