~ Looking for Dates~

Y/n Pov: 

That day I heard all the Gryffindors are with Professor McGonagall learning how to dance for the Yule ball so I was just walked around and made it the the bridge of the school I then found Draco so I walked over to him.

 " Hey Draco how-" " Shut it Black, don't speak to me..." Draco said with a glare. " Draco what is wrong with you?" I asked in a bit of panic. "Really why don't you ask your Hufflepuff boyfriend!" He said.

" Draco he isn't my boyfriend and if he was why are you mad? Are you jealous?" I asked trying to lighten the mood but it made it worse. " HA of course not I'm only upset because its a Hufflepuff, those pathetic useless people." Draco said. "Draco explain to me what I did!?" I yelled as I was getting frustrated with this charades.

"I know you know! Stop being a bloody idiot and stop being a helpless and pathetic, lying bitch!" Draco said making me froze and place as I watch him walk off leaving me heartbroken and upset.

" That was mean." I heard a voice coming from behind me. " Oh Cedric! Hi sorry you had to hear that..." I said. " No no it's fine don't be sorry." He said smiling at me. " So did you hear what happening on Christmas Eve?" I asked. " Yea the Yule Ball, uh I was going to ask you something...." He said scratching the back of his head. " Yes?" I asked. 

" Would you like to be my date?" He asked turning red. " Of course!" I said smiling widely. " Oh thank you, I kinda thought you would already have a date.." He said chuckling. " Well I thought you would of asked someone else if I'm being honest." I said. " Well I hope to see you soon." He said getting my hand and kissed it making me turn red and flustered. " See you soon." I said watching him leave.

Holy shit...

- Time Skip- 

We were all at the Great Hall studying with Snape walking around us as we all were talking about dates. 

 As I was focusing I heard Ron saying something but I couldn't make it out but then I saw Professor Snape walk over and hit Ron and made me giggle. " Well Neville.." Ron said laughing. "Well he can take himself." Harry joked around. " You know Neville has a date right?" I said making Harry and Ron sigh. 

" Now I'm really depressed." Ron said. I then continued focusing on my work trying not to get distracted till Ron spoke. " Well Hermione your a girl." Ron said making Hermione and I look up. " Oh, well spotted." Hermione sarcastically said. Ron then started saying something but then Snape hits Ron and Harry for making too much noises. 

" Come on, It's one thing for a bloke to show alone, but for a girl... it's just sad." Ron said making Hermione a bit upset. " I won't be going alone, believe it or not someone asked me!" Hermione whispered angrily. Then she gets up to Snape handing her work and came back. " and I said yes!" Hermione said leaving the room. 

"Amazing Ron, just amazing." I said sarcastically clapping. " Y/n would you- " " I already have a date." I said interrupting  Ron who was shocked. " You two really need to be quick." I said packing up my things went to Snape to hand out my book and started heading to the door but saw Harry following me. " Y/n uh so who is it?" Harry asked. " Cedric asked me, and Harry since you've done so much for me, I'll save you one dance." I said smiling making Harry smile in joy. " Thanks Y/n." Harry said as I waved goodbye and left the room.

As I made it to my room I pulled out my letter box to put a few letter I got from my father and Lupin in but something just hit me... I just felt sad when I read my father's letters. I kept on reading all of them again and again but couldn't figure it out... Every time he sends it the more I just don't want to read it. 

I then put it all away before I get more depressed. I then heard the door for the girls room and saw Pansy grinning at me. " Well thank you Y/n." She said walking to her bed. " What the hell do you want from me?" I said in annoyance. " What? Can't your bestfriend just thank you?" She said smiling at me creepily making me uncomfortable. 

" Really you forgot what you did a few weeks ago?" I said getting more heated. " I'm just saying thanks because Draco asked me to the dance." She said blushing making me sick. " Good for you." I said walking out of the room but for some reason I felt sad.... upset... jealous? 

I walked some more around the school to get away from drama. " I never thought the Yule ball would bring out the worst in people.. mostly girls." I said to myself. " Yup it does." I heard Cedric's voice which made me smile. " Why are you always near me?" I said jokingly. " Well... I actually am not sure." He said chuckling. " So are you exited tomorrow?" I asked. " Of course I am." He said as he walks next to me around the Courtyard at night with no one around. 

" Cedric why are you so nice to me?" I asked. " What do you mean by that?" He asked looking at me. " I mean I am a single child with a father who was a prisoner of Azkaban, a Slytherin, someone who doesn't like to hang out with a lot of people, and is- 

I then felt something on my lips and I realized it was Cedric, I had no clue what I was doing but I just kissed back praying no one was watching. He then looked at me a smiled making me smile in complete confusion but I just couldn't figure out what I feel...  

" Y/n would you like to be my girlfriend?" Cedric asked me as so much thoughts floods my head, I wanted to say no or not yet but I do love him.... " Of course!" I said making him lift me up hugging me and spinning me around making us both laugh.

Draco Pov: 

As I was walking around the Coutyard with my friends I then see a guy alone but then as I got a closer look I see two people kissing making me gage. " Hey look a Slytherin and a Hufflepuff, that Slytherin is a traitor." I said. As I looked at it wanting to know who it is I then see Cedric's face but saw Y/n smile making me feel anger and sadness...

I saw my friends in pure shock knowing I like Y/n for so long but never had to guts to tell her.... Now she is with this Dickggory and I felt I lost everything.

" Lets go guys." I said turning back. I have no clue what I was feeling but I didn't like it.. Is this what I get for not asking her? I'll show her I don't need her...
