- Choose Wisely - ( Draco x Y/n )

~Second Task~

Y/n Pov: 

A few days after the Yule ball I decided to make amends with Draco. As I got out of my room luckily I found him at the Common room sitting on the couch. " Hey Draco..." I said quietly. " What do you want?" Draco said bitterly. " Draco I really don't like this, I just wanted to say how much I care about you deeply and how it hurts that our friendship is crashing over Rita's exaggerated stories but I just wanted to tell you this..." I said leaving the Slytherin's house to meet the trios. 

As I was walking to the library I was stoped by Professor McGonagall. " Ms. Black I need you to come with me." She said. " Oh did I do something wrong Professor?" I asked worriedly. " No, no you didn't I need you for the second task." She said gesturing me to follow her.

As I entered I saw Hermione, Ron and Fleur's sister Gabrielle. " Professor is there anything you need us to do?" Hermione asked. " Yes I need all of you to stand still." She said. " What is this for?" I asked but before I could get an answer everything went dark.  

Draco's Pov: 

Today was the Second task of the Triwizard Tournament. "Welcome to the second task last night something was stolen from each of our champions a treasure, of sorts." Dumbledore said." These four treasure, one for each champion now lie at the bottom of the Black Lake." Dumbledore continued. " Hey where's Y/n?" I asked Crabbe but he seems to not know. 

That morning I couldn't stop thinking of what she said, I really did go harsh on her. I honestly hope we can still be friends but I still wish theres a chance of 'us' there.... I guess I must accept she is with Cedric, but I hope some universe or life I'd be given a chance with her.

I then heard a loud cannon and saw all of the champions jump in, it's only a matter of time to see what the champions treasures are...

Harry Pov: 

I fell into the water as I could feel something growing in my neck. After a few seconds of a painful transformation I end up growing gills and fins. I then swam straight ahead following a sound. I turned to the side and saw Fleur but I just continued to swimming to find the treasure. 

I continued swimming till I found four things chained down to the floor of the Lake so I sawn to get a closer look and saw Hermione, Ron, Y/n and Gabrielle. 

I rushed over to release Ron first but when I looked in front of me I saw Cedric swimming towards Y/n untying her he then pointing at his watch telling me to hurry up and swam up holding Y/n with him. 

Y/n Pov: 

I came up from the water taking a big breath of air. I turned and saw Cedric holding me smiling at me. I looked around and saw Hermione coming up from the water with Krum and we all swam to the stands and climbed the ladder. 

I was then wrapped in a towel by Cedric as he held me closely. " Hermione!" I said rushing towards her hugging her. " Are you okay? Are you hurt?!" Hermione said checking if I'm okay. 

After a while I then saw Ron and Gabrielle I then rushed over and helped Ron and Gabrielle up and wrapped Gabrielle with my towel. " Ron where is Harry?!" I asked him. " I don't know last thing I remember was when we were all with Professor McGonagall." Ron said as I look out in the Lake praying for Harry to swim up...

Moments later then Harry bursts out of the water and landed on the deck as everyone cheered for him. I then saw Fleur rush over to him. " You saved her! Even though she wasn't yours to save. My little sister. Thank you!" Fleur said as she embraces him and kisses his cheeks. 

I then saw Hermione rushing to Harry and hugged him. " Harry! Are you alright? You must be freezing!" Hermione said wrapping Harry with her towel. " Hermione I finished last." Harry said. " Next to last." Hermione said kissing his head. 

I then walked over and stood next to Cedric who walked over to me wrapping his towel around me. " Attention! Attention!" Dumbledore said as we all covered our ears since it was loud. " The winner is... Mr. Diggory!" Dumbledore said as Cedric picks me up and spins me around and kisses me in the lips as everyone cheered for him. 

" Who showed innate command of the Bubble- Head charm. However, seeing as Mr. Potter would have finished first, had it not be for his determination to not only rescue Mr. Weasley, but with the others as well." Dumbledore said as I see Harry paying close attention. 

"We've all agreed to award him Second Place!" Dumbledore said as everyone cheered. " Great Job Harry!" I said hugging him. " Thanks Y/n." Harry said smiling. 

-Time Skip-

Later that night I was walking with the trio, with Draco who shockingly came and Hagrid. We were just talking about when Hagrid met us all. " You know when I met you all. Biggest bunch of misfits I ever set eyes on. reminded me of myself a little." Hagrid said as I laughed a little. " Here we are 4 years later." Hagrid said. 

"We're still a bunch of Misfits." Ron said chuckling at Hagrid. "Well maybe but we all got each other, including Draco if he's okay with that." Hagrid said as Draco just smiled a little bit. " Yea I'd like that..." He said quietly.

" Oh and Harry of course. Soon to be The Youngest Triwizard Champion has ever been!" Hagrid yelled out as his voiced echoed in the forest as we all laughed and they all started singing Hogwarts's song except Draco of course.

"Harry?" I turned to see him walking off making me follow him. Then I heard Harry groaning in pain. " Harry are you okay?" I asked him as I put my hand on I shoulder but he didn't move. I looked at where he was looking and saw a leg.

He and I slowly walked towards the leg and saw a dead body of...
