"He's at perfect liberty to kiss whoever he likes! I really could care less.." Hermione said. Harry, Hermione and I were at the library putting away books while she talks about Ron and Lavender. "Was I under the impression he and I would be attending Slughorn's Christmas party? Yes. Now given the circumstances, I've decided to bring Y/n as my date." Hermione said holding my hand looking at Harry.
"Really? Did she ask you Y/n?" Harry looked at me. "Well, no but I was planing on asking Hermione ever since I found out about Ron and Lavender..." I said as Harry looks down. "Why are you upset?" Hermione asked Harry. "Oh well I thought since I didn't know about both of you two were going together I was thinking of bringing one of you... as friends..." Harry said making Hermione mentally slap herself.
"Why didn't I think of that?! No offense Y/n I bet someone would've wanted to take you." Hermione said. "None taken..." I said. "Anyways enough about us, we need to focus on you finding a date. You can't just take anyone..." Hermione said then walks closer to Harry and I.
"You two see that girl over there? That's Romilda Vane. Apparently she tried to smuggle you a love potion..." Hermione explained to Harry making him smile. "Really?" Harry said staring at the girl but then got interrupted by Hermione strapping her figures to get Harry's attention.
"Hey! She's only interested in you because she thinks your The Chosen One!" Hermione said whispered loudly at Harry. "But he is The Chosen One..." I said but Hermione hits me with a paper she was holding making Harry laugh. "Okay sorry.." I said. "How about you Harry take Y/n and I'll figure something out." Hermione said. "Sounds good to me." Harry said.

After that trip to the library I came to the Slytherin's dorm which I started changing into a outfit that I had plan to wear for the Christmas Party.

I didn't stay in there long since I knew I had to distract as many people as I can while Draco goes to the Cabinet. I then went over to the Gryffindor's Dorm to get Harry and to head to the party.

As I entered in the room with Harry I saw many people with dates eating, drinking and laughing. "So what now?" Harry asked. "Not sure, I just really want to know who Hermione decided to bring." I said looking around to find her. "Well whoever it is I bet they'll be a nice person she wants." Harry said.
I then found her but saw her hiding behind curtains making me hold Harry's hand and drag him over to Hermione with me. "Hermione? Are you okay?" I asked as Harry and I find the way pass the curtains. " I've just escaped... I mean, I left Cormac under the mistletoe..." Hermione said.
"Dragon Tartar? A waiter came over to us. "No we're fine thank you..." I said to the man. "Just one, will give you very bad breath." The waiter said making Hermione turn her head. "On second thought..." Hermione said grabbing the tray of food and shove one in her mouth. "Might keep him at bay... Oh god here he comes..." Hermione said sneaking off behind us leaving Harry and I alone.
"Oh um she went out to power her nose...Uh I'll go and get myself a drink..." I said leaving Harry and Cormac alone. As I left I saw Professor Snape who was at the party looking around. He then locked eyes with me and frowned, he then looked away and saw where Harry and Cormac was and walked over there.
"Sorry Harry..." I said walking away to grab a drink and letting Professor Snape do whatever he is going to do. As I was taking another sip of my drink I heard doors open. "Take your hand off me! You filthy squib!" I saw Draco being dragged by Mr. Filch making me panic.
"Professor Slughorn, sir. I've just discovered this boy lurking upstairs corridor. He claims to have been invited to your party." " Okay okay okay! I was gate crashing! Happy?" Draco said. " Draco.. don't lie, remember I asked you to meet me here since I need to show you something." I said hoping they'd believe my lie, I then walked over to him as Filch release him. "I'll escort them both out..." Snape said looking at Draco. "Certainly... Professor.." Draco said glaring at Snape. "Ms. Black I also need you with something, so you might not be able to party anymore." Snape said as everyone turned to look at me as I followed the two out.

Once we left the room we all walked in a dark, empty hallway at Hogwarts where no one was seen. "Y/n and I didn't mean to Hex that Bell girl. Maybe we did. What's it to you?!" Draco said but then unexpectedly Snap pinned Draco to the wall scaring me. " I swore to protect you both. I made the unbreakable vow." Snape said. "We don't need protection. We were chosen for this! Out of all the others! Us! I won't fail him." Draco said glaring at Snape. "Draco please stop this!" I said scolding Draco.
"Your afraid Draco, for you and your girlfriend..." Snape said as Draco's face dropped. "You can't conceal it but it's obvious, let me assist you." "NO! I WAS CHOSEN THIS IS MY MOMENT!" Draco yelled before pushing Snape away walking off "Draco!" I called but he just left leaving me and Snape alone.
"What now? Whats the plan?" I asked Snape. "Give Draco some common sense..." Snape said. We then both started walking off and continued to talk. "Professor, even though Draco said he doesn't need your help... I know he needs it more then anything and so do I..." I said giving in. "I know Ms. Black, I do care for you the most." Snape said. "Never thought you'd say that to me." I said softly chuckling.
"Ms. Black since the first year I saw you. You were just something special and different. Not saying your the Chosen one but you just have this aura." Snape explained. "Is that the reason why your always helping me with things and protect me?" I said. "Maybe, but I hate to see you like this. How bad are you both handling this?" Snape asked.
" It's eating us alive, Draco hasn't eaten or slept this little before... And I've never been this stress and sick in my life..." I said making Snape look at me to see eye bags and pale I got. "I say you both get some rest and rest well for this Winter break." Snape said.
"Thank you sir...Good night." I said before leaving heading to the Slytherin's dorm to sleep.
