- Choose Wisely - ( Draco x Y/n )

~ A Word of Caution~

Y/n pov: 

When we got to the school I was separated from the Trios and sate next to Draco and the Gang like always we all talked about our break and what we did .

Once everyone was settled Dumbledore spoke. " Welcome, Welcome to another year at Hogwarts! I have a few things to say, before we become befuddled by our excellent feast." Dumbledore said. 

"First I'm please to welcome Professor R.J Lupin who's kindly consented to fill the post of the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Good luck Professor."Dumbledore said making everyone clap for him. I then looked at Lupin who is standing and bowing looked back at me smirked making me slouch down hiding myself. "Y/n Whats wrong?" Draco asked me. "Oh nothing..." I said trying to act chill.

As I tried to ignore Lupin I heard Draco. " Pottah! Pottah! Is it true you fainted? I mean you actually fainted." Draco chuckled as one of his friends pretended to faint. " Draco enough" I said hitting his head. " Shove off Malfoy." Ron said to him.

" As some of you may know , our Care of Magical Creatures teacher has decided to retire. In order to spend more time with his remaining limbs. Fortunately, I'm delighted to announce that his place will be taken by none other than our own Rubeus Hagrid!" Dumbledore said making everyone clap. 

"Finally, on a more disquieting note, Hogwarts at the request of the Ministry of Magic will until further notice, play host to the Dementors of Azkaban. Until such a time Sirius Black is captured." Dumbledore said, as the name Sirius Black was said I felt eyes where on me. I looked up seeing students from Hufflepuff to Slytherins looking at me whispering stuff... I knew instantly they are talking about me. 

"The Dementors will be stationed at every entrance to the grounds. I've been assured that their presence will not disrupt our day-to-day activates... But a word of caution... Dementors are vicious creatures, they will not distinguish between the one they hunt and the one that gets in their way. Therefore I must warn each and every one of you to give them no reason to harm you. It's not in the nature of a Dementor to be forgiving..." Dumbledore explains making the whole room quiet.  

" But you know happiness if found even in the darkest of times... What only remembers to turn on the light." Dumbledore said as he adds fire to a candle that wasn't lit. 

- Time Skip- 

As we all finished eating students started heading to their houses for the night. I still had a feeling people were still talking about me which I wasn't wrong when Draco and the gang walked over to me. " Y/n.. So are you related to Sirius Black?" Pansy asked very straight forward. "Ahh I don't think so.. I never really new my family." I said lying once more. " Also why where you slouching when Dumbledore introduced Professor Lupin?" Draco asked as the all surrounded me. "uhh I'll explain it to you at the dorm." I said as I continued walking to the dormitory.

Once we made it in Draco and Blaise took my arms and sat me down on the couch as the rest follows me sitting near me. " So talk." Draco said. 

" Okay fine, but you all must not say a word of what I'm about to say, and If a student from Slytherin or another house finds out, your all dead to me and I won't help you all with your school works." I said as they all nod. " Well first off Lupin is my guardian, he raised me for about 7 years I think." I said as they all looked at each other in shocked. " And for Sirius Black, well.." I said before stopping. " I don't know I never heard of the man maybe I am related but probably never met him..." I said lying, I'm not ready to tell them.. not now. 

"Huh it would be interesting if you where like his daughter!" Crabbe said. " heheh I guess." I said looking down. " Do you know anything of your parents? Like your mother?" Goyle asked. " I don't know, when I was five she disappeared leaving me with Professor Lupin..." I said "Do you know where she is?" Draco asked.
