~Champion Selection~

Y/n Pov: 

I was at the Great Hall with the Trio. We were all watching as the older students put their names into the Goblet of Fire. As I was sitting reading a book my father sent me I saw a group of boys in my peripheral vision pushing another person to the Goblet. I looked up and saw Cedric putting his name in the Goblet and everyone started clapping for him. He looked and saw me looking at him a smiled and winked at me making me roll my eyes at him. 

"ohh seems like someone has a admirer." Hermione joked around. " No! of course not he just gave me a friendly smile that all.." I said looking down at my book. Then the twins bursted in the Great Hall making everyone cheer for them. " Thank you! Thank you! Well lads we've done it!" George said. " Cooked it up just this morning!" Fred said. 

" It's not going to work." Hermione said. And they sat around Hermione and I. " Oh yeah? And why's that Granger?"  " You see this? This is an age line. Dumbledore drew it himself." Hermione said.

" So?" " So a genius like Dumbledore couldn't possibly be fooled by something pathetically dimwitted such as an age potion." I chimed in. " That's why it's so brilliant." Fred  said.  " Because he's pathetically dimwitted!" George added. 

" Ready Fred?" " Ready George?" " Bottoms up!" They said then drank the potions. They jumped in the circle and nothing happened. Everyone started cheering for them as they put their names in the Goblet. 

Everyone cheered for them again and then the flame turned red and blasted the twins back. When the both sat up their hair turned from ginger to grey making us all laugh. " You said!"  " You said!" They both said as they both fight each other as everyone surrounded them watching the fight as Hermione and I sat back down continuing reading.

We then heard the Great Hall door opened revealing Victor Krum and the Igor walking in as Victor puts his name in the Goblet then he made eye contact with Hermione making her smile a little bit and made me chuckle. " Ooo someone has an admirer." I said nudging her side. " Shut it!" She said getting her book and hit me in the head with her book making me laugh harder. 

- Time Skip- 

It was the day the Champions gets picked so I sat with the Trios bringing Draco with me for more torture for him.  " Sit down please. And now the moment you've all been waiting for, the champions selection!" Dumbledore announced as he burns out the candles making the room darker.  He then approaches the Goblet and the flame turned red and a piece of burned paper came out. 

"The Drumstrang champion is.... Viktor Krum!" People cheered and Viktor went up then we taken to a room. Then the flame turned red again and another burned paper shot out. " The champion from Beauxbatons is... Fleur Belacour!" People cheered and she when up and went to another room.

Then the flame shout out again another paper. " The Hogwarts Champion is... Cedric Diggory!" Everyone started cheering for him as he went up he looked over at me and winked making me blush again then he was taken to another room. 

"Excellent! We now have our three champions! But in the end only one will go down in history! Only one will hoist this chalice of champions, this vessel of victory the Trio-Wizard Cup!" 

Everyone started cheering but then the flame turned red again making everyone confused including Dumbledore. Then a piece of paper came from the flame and Dumbledore caught it and mumbled something. " Harry Potter?!" He said in shocked and everyone else was shocked including me. 

" HARRY POTTER!" Dumbledore said angrily as Hermione then pulled Harry up telling him to go. " How..?" I asked. " I have no clue love..." Draco said. 

Harry then we taken to a room making us all very confused and worried for him as students started calling him a cheat, a liar. 

- Time Skip-

The next two weeks were chaotic to say. I found out from Hermione that Ron and Harry aren't happy and wouldn't speak to each other but will hang out. 

Later that day I was with Harry and Neville at the shore of the Great Lake as I was hanging out with Neville looking at water plants as he and I are amazed at it. " Y/n check this out!" Neville said. " Wow it's so pretty." I said. " Amazing... Amazing!" Neville said. " Neville... your doing it again." Harry said in an annoyed voice. 

" Oh right... Sorry.." He said. " Harry got one of his books and started looking at the pages. " Magical water plants the Highland locks?" He read. " Moody gave  it to me and also one to Y/n." He said then waved over then I looked up seeing Ron, Hermione and Ginny. 

I then see Harry getting up so I rolled down my long sleeves and handed Neville a plant I was holding and walked over to see whats going on. 

" Ronald would like me to tell you that Seamus told him that Dean was told by Pavarati that Hagrid is looking fro you." She said quickly.

" Is that right? Well y- wait what?" Harry asked. 

" Uh... uhmmm." Hermione then walked back over to Ron and he whispered something to her ear then she walked back over. " Dean was told by Pavarati that... please don't ask me to say it again... Hagrid is looking for you." She said. "Well you can tell Ronald-" 

"I'M NOT AN OWL!" Hermione snapped as they all walked away up the hill.

" So will you go now?" I asked. " Well he is asking for me, will you be okay?" He asked. " Yea I'll be with Neville for now then I'll go back." I said smiling at Harry. " See you guys!" Harry said leaving as Neville and I waved bye and continued looking and finding more plants.
