~Umbridge~

Y/n Pov: 

At the train I decided to join Draco and his friends. As we all got off we were all heading to the carriages to Hogwarts. As we walked I spotted the trio walking and I knew instantly Draco is going to do or say something to them so I prepared myself. " Surprised the Ministry is still letting you walk around free Potter. You better enjoy it while you still can. I expect a call in Azkaban with your name on it." Draco said smirking at Harry with his buddies laughing with him but then within seconds I saw Harry lunged at Draco but Ron held him back making Draco, his friends and I jumped back as we were not expecting Harry to react like that. 

For some reason this time I didn't hit or scold Draco... Why is that? Draco then held my hand and walked off with me as I turn to see the trio eyeing me to come with them. " Draco love,  I'll see you at Hogwarts okay?" I said kissing his cheek then head off to them. 

" Sorry about-" " You two are together?" Ron asked." Kinda... I don't know anymore lets just go." I said as they all nod and headed to the carriages. As we walked towards the carriage I saw a group of Ravenclaw girls in front of us giggling and saw Cho Chang looking back smiling at someone. I turned my head to see Harry staring straight making me realize he likes her. 

" Why don't you ask her out?" I said chuckling as Harry turns red. " N-no please..." Harry said as a Carriage arrives with a skeletal horse. " What is it?" Harry asked. "I'm not sure..." I said. " Whats What?" Neville asked. " That..?" Harry and I said at the same time. " Nothing is pulling the carriage you two, it's pulling itself like always.." Hermione said looking at us both like were mad. 

As we got closer I saw a girl reading a book upside down. " You're both not going mad... I can see them too." A girl who I end up recognizing is Luna Lovegood she is one of the Ravenclaw's students. " You both are just as sane as I am." Luna said with a soft calming voice. 

We all just got on the carriage all awkwardly " Uh everyone this is loony love-" Hermione stopped mid way. " Luna Lovegood." I said as everyone is looking around not making eye contact. 

" What an interesting necklace..." Hermione said. " It's a charm, actually... Keeps away the nargles... Hungry... I hope they got pudding..." Luna said as everyone just got so uncomfortable. 

-Time Skip- 

I was sitting with the Slytherins table sitting next to Draco as we all were eating our food. "Love your aware Pansy is staring at you... do you know why?" Draco whispers to me. " She has a huge crush on you... still do I guess." I said whispering to his ear as I look at Pansy holding a fork in one  hand and a knife at the other. 

" Good evening children." Dumbledore said. " Now we have two changes in staffing this year. We're please to welcome back Professor Grubbly-Plank, who will be taking over Magical Creatures while professor Hagrid is on temporary leave. We also want to welcome our new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Professor Dolores Umbrigde, and I'm sure you will all join me in wishing the Professor good luck." Dumbledore said, as I looked over to her she is wearing... well a lot of pink and she has this uncomfortable smile like she is faking it or she is mental...

" Thank you headmaster, for those kind words, and how lovely to see all your bright and happy faces smiling up to me." She said, as I looked around not seeing a single smiling student. " She scares me..."I said to Draco who also looked very uncomfortable. " Kinda but she seems okay." Draco said. 

" I'm sure were all going to be very close friends." Umbridge said. " Thats unlikely." The twins said as she glares at them. " The Ministry of Magic as always considered the education of young Witches and Wizards to be a vital importance. Although each headmaster as brought something new to this historic school." Umbirdge stopped looking at Dumbledore then continued. " Progress for the sake of progress must be... discouraged. Let us preserve what must be preserved, perfect what can be perfected, and prune practices that ought to be... prohibited." Umbridged said as she giggles that  just sends me shivers when she makes that high pitch sound.She then walks back to her seat at Dumbledore claps making the other students clap slowly and confusedly.

- Time Skip-

As I was in the Slytherin's dorm there was chattering about how Harry and Dumbledore are being attacked by the Ministry. "Hey did you hear about Harry?" I heard Goyle talking to Crabbe. " Yea stupid potter, everyone is not doing well because of him." Crabbe said as I listen in. " I rather have Harry die instead of Cedric." Goyle said making me upset. 

" Really? You wish for another person to die then what? Make Hogwarts close down? We arlready lost an amazing person, if we lost more we all wouldn't be here." I yelled at the two who looked a bit scared. " Love relax..." Draco said. " No, If Harry can't be here to defend himself as a friend and I will defend him." I said making everyone go quiet making me leave the room heading to my room as Draco follows me. 

" Draco I'm sorry, too much has happened..." I said sitting on my bed. " Love it's okay I know a lot happened, by the way did you talk to your father?" Draco asked. " Yea we are in good terms for now." I said laying my head oh Draco's shoulder. " Draco is it weird I feel like.... something is going to happen this year..?" I asked. " I mean so far from year 1 to 4 yea things have been shitty, but we shouldn't think about it..." Draco said kissing my lips and sat up. " I should go and get some rest you too." Draco said. " Alright, goodnight Draco." I said. " Goodnight." He said leaving the room. 

I really don't think this year will be peaceful at all...
