- Choose Wisely - ( Draco x Y/n )

Y/n Pov: 

I left the Three Broomsticks with the trio since Draco didn't leave the room yet so I thought he needed a distraction. As we walked I notice Katie and her friend was in front of us. "Perfect." I said to myself. Now I can make sure the plan goes well. 

We were all just walking back to Hogwarts as Harry and Ron were behind Hermione and I talking about something and Hermione and I were just feeling the nice cold winter breeze till we heard a loud scream in front of us and saw Katie on the ground and her friend panicking. 

SHIT!

"I warned her not to touch it!" Katie's friend said as we rush forward and saw Katie's body being flung around like she is being possessed. Shouldn't she be dead? Wait! How did she get curse? She is wearing gloves?! All these thoughts flew in my head as I watch in terror Katie up in the air with her mouth wide open then was thrown to the snowy ground twitching. 

"Don't come any closer!" Hagrid's voice said coming from behind. As I watch Hagrid pick up Katie and started mumbling something Harry goes and walks over to the necklace before Hagrid spoke again. "Do not touch that. Hagrid commanded Harry who stopped. 

This wasn't suppose to happen....

-Time Skip-

After a while we were all sent to Professor McGonagall's office. "You're sure Katie did not have this in her possession when she entered The Three Broomsticks?" Professor McGonagall asked Katie's friend. 

"It's like I said. She left to go to the loo, and when she came back she had the package. She said it was important that she delivers it..." She said still confused of what just happened.

"Did she say to whom?" "To Professor Dumbledore." "Very well. Thank you, you may go." McGonagall said as the girl left the room and then Professor McGonagall turned over to us and spoke. "Why is it when something happens it is always you four." She said. 

"Believe me professor, I've been asking myself that same question for six years." Ron spoke then we heard someone else enter in the room who ends up being Professor Snape. 

"Oh, Severus." Professor McGonagall said lookin at Snape who stared at me. 

He knows...

Professor Snape walked over to the necklace and examined the wand quietly. "What do you think?" McGonagoll asked after a while. "I think Ms. Bell is lucky to be alive." Snape said. 

" She was cured... wasn't she?" Harry asked. "I know Katie, off the quidditch pit, she wouldn't hurt a fly. If she was delivering that to Professor Dumbledore, she wasn't doing it knowingly..." Harry explained.

"Yes, she was cured..." Professor McGonagall said starting at the necklace. "It was Malfoy." Harry said abruptly making my heart beat very fast. "It's not." I said making me mentally hit myself. "What makes you think that Ms Black?" McGonagall said. "B-because... I was with him... and he and he had nothing on him." I said hoping to not be questioned. " Alright but that is a very serious accusation, Potter." Professor McGonagall said. "Indeed... Your evidence?" Snape said looking at Harry.

"I just know..." Harry said. "You just know." Snape said. "People are astonish with your gifts, Potter. Gifts mere mortals can only dream of possessing. How grand it must be to be the chosen one..." Snape said glaring at Harry. 

" I suggest you go back to your dormitories... All of you." Professor McGonagall said as we all turned around and headed off. "Ms. Black  I would like a word with you..." Professor Snape said making me sweat a lot. "My office now." Snape said as I started rushing over to his office as quickly as I could.

"What the hell were you thinking?" Snape said loudly at me with a furious face. "Sir I have no idea what your saying..." I said. "Don't be foolish!" Snape said grabbing my arm and pull up my sleeve revealing my mark. "I know what you are and who you belong to now... I also know Malfoy is up to this... Your mother informed me about your task." Snape said.

"Wait you know everything?" I asked hoping it wasn't a trick. "I am one of them too Ms. Black. Thats why I've been helping and protecting you and Malfoy." Snape said making me relax a bit. " Now what were you thinking..." Snape said with a very serious tone. 

"I didn't know how Katie got cursed... She was wearing gloves... I didn't mean to hurt her..." I said with tears forming with guilt. " I see... Go to your dorm and tell Malfoy to stop fooling around and take these task more seriously..." Snape said taking a seat. "Thank you Professor..." I said closing the door to his office and head off to the dorms.

I came to the Slytherin's dorm and met up with Draco in his room. "So my plan backfired..." I said. "Yea I heard, hows Katie by the way?" Draco asked with a worried look. "She is going to be okay but... I failed the task now I have to kill Dumbledore with my wand..." I said with tears coming out of my eyes. 

"Love I know you can't do this but we have to... We will finish it together... I promise." Draco said holding me tightly and kiss my head. " I have to go and look for this Cabinet tonight so I need you to distract  as many people as you can." Draco said look at me. "Yeah can do that. Professor Slughorn invited me to his party so I'll be heading there tonight and so will the Harry. " I said. 

"Well have fun love." Draco said kissing my lips and got up and headed out but stopped when I spoke. "Draco..." I said pausing. "Yes love?" Draco asked. "Please once this is over... we live in peace away from all of this?" I asked. "Of course, I'll do everything in my power for us to live a normal life again." Draco said smiling and then closed the door leaving me alone.
