~I Must Not Tell Lies~

Y/n Pov: 

Today we have our first class of Year 5 and I was sitting next to Draco in the DADA class room. Everyone was having fun laughing, and messing around. One of the Patil twins made a paper bird which was flying around the classroom. 

As all the students were watching the paper bird flying around, it burned and fell on one of the Patil twin's desk. Everyone turned around to see Professor Umbridge giving us that uncomfortable smile...

" Good morning children." She said. " Ordinary Wizarding Level Examination. O - W - L's, more commonly know as OWLS. Study hard and you will be rewarded. Fail to do so and the consequences may be severe." Umbridge said smiling at us then she waves her wand distributing our books to the class. 

She then waved her wand and our new textbooks flew towards our desk. " Your previous instruction in this subject has been disturbingly uneven, but you'll be pleased to know from now on, you will be following a careful structured, Ministry approved course of defensive magic." Umbridge said as everyone was flipping through the pages then Hermione raised her hand. 

" Yes?" " There's nothing in here about using defensive spells..." Hermione said making Umbridge chuckling. " Well, I can't imagine you would need to use spells in my classroom." Umbridge said. " We're not going to be using magic?" Ron said. " How will we learn anything. We already know the basics. " I said. "You'll be learning about defensive spells in a secure risk-free way." 

"Well what use will that be if we're going to be attacked it won't be risk-free." Harry said. "Students will raise their hands when they speak in my class room." Umbridge said. 

"It's the view of the Ministry, that a theoretical knowledge would be sufficient to get you through your examinations, which after all is what school is all about." She said. " And how's theory supposed to prepare us for whats out there?" Harry asked. " There's nothing out there dear. Who do you imagine would want to attack children, such as yourself." "Oh I don't know, maybe Lord Voldemort?" Harry said with attitude making everyone whisper to their seat mate as the room went silent. 

"Now... let me make this quiet plain you have been told that a certain dark wizard is at large once again... this is a lie." Umbridge said as she stood over Harry's desk. " It's not a lie! I saw hime! I fought him!" " Detention Mr. Potter!" " So according to you Cedric Diggory dropped dead of his own accord?" Harry questioned. " Cedric Diggory's death was a tragic accident!" " It was murder Voldemort killed him!"

" ENOUGH!" Umbridge yelled at him making everyone quiet." See me later... Mr. Potter, my office. " Umbridge said then giggled making me uncomfortable again. I turned over to Draco as he just smirked. " Whats wrong with you?" I asked. " I like her." He said. " She looks like a psycho.." I said with an uncomfortable look.

I was at the Slytherin's dorm to rest from an exhausting day. One thing I found out was that a lot of Slytherin's really like Umbridge except me which made me worried.

 " So love what did you think of this new amazing teacher?" Draco said sitting next to me on the couch wrapping his arm around me. " I don't understand you.. how do you like her? She is crazy..." I said looking at him with a upset look. 

" Hey look I'm sorry but thats what I believe in okay?" Draco said. " I know but it's not what I like so respect that.." I said stand up walking to my room but stopped. " Love, do you believe what Harry said about him?" I asked. " You better not tell a word, but yes I am afraid he isn't lying..." Draco said with a very concerned look. 

" So umm did she tell you?" Draco said suddenly... " What? Who?" I asked. " Your mother?" " I have no clue what your even talking about..." I said. " I don't think it's important right now..." Draco said before kissing my cheek. 

"Draco is it something important?" I asked. " Uh not really depends on how you feel about it, but it's not a bad thing and you'll find out on winter break.... You will come to my house right?" Draco asked. " I'm not sure, I think I might head to my house but I'll see if I can come over for a few nights." I said smiling at him. " Sound great, I think we must get ready for the rest of our day." Draco said getting up and pulled me up holding my hand. 

" See you later Draco." I said before I head out of the Slytherin's common room.
