~ Yule Ball~

Y/n Pov: 

Today was the day. It was late at night and I went to the Gryffindor's house so Hermione and I can help each other get dress. I got my mother's green dress she wore and I fixed my hair and add a bit of make up ( or not) and I wore the bracelet that my father got me! I then started helping pin up Hermione's hair and helped her get dressed. 

As I sat on the Gryffindor's couch she ends up coming out of the room wearing a beautiful dress.

"What do you think?" She asked me. " You look beautiful Hermione!" I said smiling at her. " You also look beautiful!" She said as we both giggle our way out of the Gryffindor's house.

We then made it to the stairs and I saw many people at the front rather waiting or chatting with someone. I then told Hermione to go first which she was nervous but she was able to go down stairs which I was happy then it was my turn. 

I end up walking down very nervously my hands were sweating and as I looked up I saw Hermione giving me a thumbs up smiling widely I saw Harry and Ron with  the Patil twins and I turned and saw Cedric smiling at me which made me turn towards him which he took my hand and kissed it again making me chuckle. 

I turned and saw Draco who was staring at me the whole time but I still was a bit upset at him so I just ignored him. 

" You look gorgeous." Cedric said. " Thanks, you look very handsome." I said fixing his tie up. As we all lined up the doors to the Great Hall opened. We all walked down an aisle as people cheered and clapped for us. When we got to the end music started playing and the Champions started dancing with their partners. Then as we danced more and more couples joined on the dance floor.

After the dance I was in the dance floor with Cedric dancing with a Rock band with other students dancing like crazy. After a while as Cedric and I got out of the crowd I saw Harry and Ron by themselves. " Hey Cedric I'll be right back okay?" I said then I kissed him on the lips then headed to Harry and Ron. 

" So what happened?" I asked. " Our dates left us." Ron said making me feel bad. " Well I did promise Harry a dance but I don't think it would be bad to dance with you both." I said. "  No, no it's fine Y/n." Harry said. " You sure? If it's because Cedric is here I really don't care." I said. " No it's fine." Harry said smiling at me. 

After my talk with Harry and Ron, Cedric and I were drinking and dancing some more. " Love it's getting late we should head back." Cedric said giggling. " Yea I'll head to my dorm!" I said. " Let me take you." Cedric said smiling. " Love, if one of the Slytherins sees you with me , it won't be sunshine and rainbows." I said as he realized it and nod. " Okay but just this time, next time we have this I'll be taking you." He said making me smile. 

" I'll see you love." Cedric said kissing me on the lips. " see you!" I said smiling as I walked out of the Great hall. As I turned a corner I saw Hermione yelling in tears at Ron so I rushed over but I was too late and saw Hermione, Ron and Harry walk off.

" WHAT THE BLOODY HELL DID YOU DO RON!" I yelled following them but he just walked off as I turned I see Hermione crying. " RON, YOU SPOILED EVERYTHING!" Hermione said before crashing on the stairs. 

" Hey, hey look at me..." I said holding Hermione. " Don't listen to that Weasel, he isn't worth it." I said. " Y/n am I not worthy of anything?" She asked me. " Of course not Hermione... Your amazing, intelligent, and beautiful." I said wiping her tears away. 

" Don't let those two Idiots ruin your day." I said pulling her up. " Y/n what are you doing?" Hermione asked. " The ball isn't over, may we dance?" I asked giggling making her smile and take my hand as we danced on the stairs. 

" Thank you so much Y/n..." Hermione said. " I'm always here for my little sister." I said as she laughs at me. " Hey I'm a month older then you!" Hermione said laughing. " Hey, I'm the one confronting you right now so shush!" I said as we laugh together.
