- Choose Wisely - ( Draco x Y/n )

~ Norbert~

Y/n Pov: 

It was the afternoon and we where at the library reading until Hermione comes up with a huge book and thumps it onto the table making Ron , Harry and I jump.  " I had you looking in the wrong section! How could I be so stupid?" Hermione said. Ron looked at the book. " This is light?" He asked 

Hermione glared at Ron while flipping through the pages and stopped at a page. " Of course! Here it is!" Nicholas Flamel is the only known maker of the Philosopher's Stone!" She said pointing at it " Yea! I heard something like that! I said looking at the book. "The what?" Ron and Harry said. " Honestly, don't you two read?" I asked them rolling my eyes. " "The Philosopher's Stone is a legendary substance with astonishing powers. It will turn any metal into pure gold and produces the Elixir of Life, which will make the drinker immortal." I said reading the book. 

"Immortal?" Ron asked " It means you'll never die." Hermione added looking at Ron. "  I know what it means!" Ron said loudly as Harry shushed him. 

I walked over next to Hermione to see more . " "The only stone currently in existence belongs to Mr. Nicholas Flamel, the noted alchemist, who last year celebrated his 665th birthday!" She said looking shocked. " That's what Fluffy's guarding on the 3rd floor. That's what's under the trapdoor...the Philosopher's Stone!" I said looking at Hermione also shocked and we all exchanged looks at each other. 

-Time Skip-

Later that night in the castle grounds, Hermione, Ron, Harry, and  I ran across to Hagrid's hut. We all knock on the door and Hagrid, who is wearing an apron and oven mitts, opens it from the inside. " Hagrid!" Harry said. " Oh, hello. Sorry, don't wish to be rude, but I'm in no fit state to entertain today." Hagrid said looking at all of us. "We know about the Philosopher's Stone!" All of us said at the same time. 

"Oh.." He said opening the door letting us in. "We think Snape's trying to steal it." Harry said. "Snape? Blimey, Harry, you're not still on about him, are you?" Hagrid said to Harry. "Hagrid, we know he's after the Stone. We just don't know why." I said to Hagrid. " Snape is one of the teachers protecting the Stone! He's not about to steal it!" He said looking at all of us. "What?" All of us said. " You heard. Right. Come on, now, I'm a bit preoccupied today." Hagrid said.

" Wait a minute... One of the teachers?" Harry said " Of course! There are other things defending the Stone, aren't there? Spells, enchantments." Hermione said to Harry. " That's right. Waste of bloody time, if you ask me." Hagrid said. "Ain't no one gonna get past Fluffy. Hehe, not a soul knows how. Except for me and Dumbledore." Hagrid said before backed up of what he just said to all of us. 

"I shouldn't have told you that. I shouldn't have told you that." Hagrid said pausing.

 Then an egg on the table cracking open slowly. "Uh, Hagrid, what exactly is that?" I asked Hagrid. " That? It's a ... its um..." He stuttered. " I know what that is! But Hagrid, how did you get one?" Ron said asking Hagrid. " I won it. Off a stranger I met down at a pub. Seemed quite glad to be rid off it, as a matter of fact." Hagrid said. 

Then a shell fell off revealing a baby dragon. " Is that...a dragon?" Hermione asked. "  That's not just a dragon. That's a Norwegian Ridgeback! My brother Charlie works with these in Romania." Ron said in amazement. " Isn't he beautiful? Oh. Bless him, look. He knows his mummy. Hehe. Hallo, Norbert." Hagrid said smiling at Norbert. "  Norbert?" Harry asked. "Yeah, well, he's got to have a name, doesn't he?" Hagrid said chuckling. 

Then Norbert backs away, until he hiccups and blast a small fireball into Hagrid's beard which he pats out quickly. I went over grabbing the egg shells throwing it away so Norbert has space to move around more. Then Hagrid looks over and saw someone outside the window. " Who's that?" Hagrid said. " Malfoy." Harry said as I turn around seeing them look outside the window. 

"Wait Draco Is here?" I asked " Yes..." Harry said. "Oh, dear." Hagrid said looking at us worriedly." We should head out now before someone else sees us." I said getting the trio out. 

We made it to the castle hoping to not be seen. "  Hagrid always wanted a dragon. He told me so the first time I met him." Harry said looking at all of us. " It's crazy. And worse, Malfoy knows." Ron added. "I don't understand. Is that bad?" Harry asked us. " It's bad." Hermione and I said looking worriedly. 

Then we got stopped by professor McGonagall in her nightgown next to her was none other then Draco... 

"Good Evening." She said sternly. I looked over at Draco who looked confused why I was with them and I gave him the look of disappointment. " Nothing, I repeat, nothing gives a student the right to walk about the school at night. Therefore, as punishment for your actions, 50 points will be taken." She said scolding all of us.    " 50?!" All of us said at the same time. " Each... And to ensure it doesn't happen again, all five of you will receive detention." She said looking at us. 

Malfoy nods, then his smile vanishes with great concern. " Excuse me, Professor. Perhaps I heard you wrong. I thought you said...the five of us." He asked. " No, you heard me correctly, Mr. Malfoy. You see, as honorable as your intentions were, you too were out of bed after hours. You will serve detention with your classmates." She said making all four of us grin. 

-Draco Pov:- 

As I realized I got included with this mess I knew I also messed up with Y/n..  As they all went away to their houses I decided to take my chances and apologies to Y/n. 

"Hey uhh I didn't know you were there.. I didn't see you." I said with a bit of guilt in my eyes. "So if I wasn't there you wouldn't be sorry?" She asked obviously pissed off of what I just did. "N-no..." I said questioning if I would do the same if she wasn't there. "Exactly you don't know!" She said getting more upset at me. 

"Y/n please I didn't mean to hurt you, please forgive me!" I said begging her to forgive me. "Draco whats the point if your just going to hurt, annoy my friends and me?" She said looking like she is going to cry soon... 

"I'm going to bed, I'm tried." She said going straight to her room. No kiss on the cheek... no goodnight hugs... and no goodnights from her...
