~Goodbye For Now~

Y/n Pov: 

In the hospital wing the next day, I woke up with bandages on my neck. I look around and saw Harry lying in bed with his arm bandaged. He awakens, puts on his glasses, and sits up and looked over at me. "Hey your up." He said at me. "Harry what happened?" I asked him. "Oh well Professor Quirrll chocked you which knocked you out, and then I remember putting my hands on him which he ends up burning and I got the stone." He explained to me. I looked around and there are cards and candy all over Harry and my desk. I then looked up and saw Dumbledore approaches us. 

"Good afternoon, Harry and Y/n. Tokens from your admirers I see." He said. "Admirers?" Harry asked. "What happened down in the dungeons between you and Professor Quirrell is a complete secret, so, naturally, the whole school knows." He said smiling at us both. "  I see your friend Ronald has saved you the trouble of opening your Chocolate Frogs." Dumbledore said. 

"Ron was here? Is he all right? What about Hermione?" I asked worriedly. "Fine. They're both just fine." Dumbledore assured me. " But, what happened to the Stone?" Harry asked. "Relax, dear boy. The stone has been destroyed. My friend Nicholas and I had a little chat and agreed it was best all around." He said to us making us look confused " But Flamel, he'll die, won't he?" I asked Dumbledore. " He has enough Elixir to set his affairs in order. But yes, he will die." He explained to me making me a bit sad. 

" How is it I got the Stone, sir? One minute I was staring in the mirror, and the next..." Harry asked. "wait you got the Stone?" I asked. "Yea when I was looking at the mirror I saw myself with the stone and I placed it in my pocket and there it was, in my pocket." He explained to me. I still don't understand it but I just continued to listen. "Ah. You see, only a person who wanted to find the Stone, find it, but not use it, would be able to get it. That is one of my more brilliant ideas. And between you two and me that's saying something." He said smirking at us. " Does that mean, with the Stone gone, I mean, that Voldemort can never come back?" Harry asked Dumbledore.

"Ah, I'm afraid there are ways in which he can return. Harry, do you know why Professor Quirrell couldn't bear to have you touch him?  It was because of your mother. She sacrificed herself for you, and that kind of act leaves a mark." Dumbledore said to Harry as he touch his scare. " No, no, this kind of mark cannot be seen. It lives in your very skin." He said. "What is it?"Harry asked. 

"Love, Harry, love." He said patting Harry's head and walks over to me. "Ah. Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. I was most unfortunate in my youth to come across a vomit flavored one, and since then I have lost my liking for them. But I think I could be safe with a nice toffee..." He said taking some from my pile of gifts and eats a brown one. "Mm. Alas. Earwax." Dumbledore said leaving Harry and I. 

-Time Skip-

As I was in the Great Hall, full of students eating and talking with each other. There are green and silver banners with the Slytherin symbol above our heads, already indicating our house has the most points. Dumbledore gives a slight nod to professor McGonagall, who then clinks her spoon to her glass, to ask attention from the students. The crowd falls silent. Dumbledore stands up and speaks.

"Another year, gone! And now, as I understand it, the house cup needs awarded and the points stand thus. In fourth place: Gryffindor, with 312 points! In third place: Hufflepuff, with 352 points! Second: Ravenclaw, with 426 points! And in first place, with 472 points: Slytherin house! All of the Slytherin students cheered for joy and I looked over at the three looking a bit disappointed. 

" Nice one, mate." Draco said to his friend smirking at Ron who looks back at him. "Yes, well done Slytherin, well done Slytherin. However, recent events must be taken into account and I have a few last minute points to award." Dumbledore said. "To Miss Hermione Granger, for the cool use of intellect while others were in grave peril: fifty points!" Dumbledore said making Hermione smile in joy while the Gryffindors cheered for her. I looked over to Draco and the gang who didn't seem happy of whats going on. I looked over to Hermione smiling and giving her a thumbs up. 

" Second, to Mr. Ronald Weasley, for the best played game of chess that Hogwarts has seen these many years: fifty points!" The cheers in Gryffindor's table got louder and Ron also looked very happy. "And third, to Mr. Harry Potter, for pure love and outstanding courage, I award Gryffindor house: sixty points!" He said. Harry smiles in pure joy as I cheer for all three of them. 

"And fourth, it takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to your enemies, but a great deal more to stand up to your friends. I award ten points to Neville Longbottom!" He said Neville looking very shocked what just happened but looked very happy. 

"And finally, To Ms. Black for her ambitious character and is always there to help others  I award ten points for Y/n Black!" Dumbledore said making me shocked too, Making the trio stand a cheer for me and the Slytherin table too. 

"Assuming that my calculations are correct, I believe that a change of decoration is in order!" He said then Dumbledore clapped changing the Slytherin banners, where they flap heavily, until the banners have changed completely to red and gold with the Gryffindor symbol. " Gryffindor wins the House Cup!" Dumbledore said making everyone cheered except the Slytherins. To be honest yes I'm a bit disappointed we didn't win but I'm still happy for the Gryffindors and cheered with them.  

-Time Skip- 

I was walking around saying goodbye to my Slytherin friends hugging them goodbye. " Hey Y/n I'll see you next time okay?" Draco said looking at me. "Yup you'll see me again!" I said hugging him one last time " Have a good summer princess." Draco said smirking. "You too!"  I said trying to keep in the redness in my face. With that I went in the train to find a seat and saw the trio. " Hey guys!" I said. "Y/N" They all said at the same time.  

I walk over and sat next to Hermione . "Feels strange to be going home, doesn't it?" She said to all of us. " I'm not going home. Not really." Harry said, " Don't worry guys we will be back before we even know it!" I said smiling at all of them, and with that the train started and we all left ready for the second year in Hogwarts.
