Nagising ako nang mas maaga sa usual na gising ko. No one has to attend my needs this time, so I need to get everything ahead of time. Hindi naman ako nahirapan dahil sanay na akong mag-isa.
Sinipat ko nang mabuti ang kabuuan sa full-length mirror. I decide to wear this peach-colored floral dress. The white complexion of Lady Sneddelline matches to the get up. Inipit ko malapit sa kanang tainga ang isang silver hairclip. Nakita ko ang hairclip na 'to sa drawer ni Lady Sneddelline. Sabi ni Nesh, pinakaiingatan nya itong bagay. Nesh doesn't know the reason, but this thing is valuable to her lady.
"It is time," ngumiti ako at sa huling pagkakataon ay pinasadahan ng tingin ang itsura. "Lady Sneddelline's beauty is really outstanding."
Kunting pulbos lang naman ang inilagay ko pero bakit ganito sya kaganda. It is a shame that she just an extra in this novel. If she's one of the main characters, she would definitely take the limelight from the leads.
Naroon pa rin ang ngiti ko nang lumabas ako ng hut. Kagabe—bago ako matulog—pinag-insayuhan ko nang mabuti ang pagiging palangiti ni Lady Sneddelline. I just think that I shouldn't change Lady Sneddelline's characters towards other people.
Tiningnan ko muna ang malaking pinto ng opisina ni Heasmistress Klaus bago nagdesisyong kumatok. This day, I will take her challenge—to take Odeius Academy's Examination.
"Come in," I heard her voice.
Pagpasok ko ay bumungad sa akin ang nakangisi nyang mukha. She is leaning to some sort of barriers.
"So, you're serious about yesterday." She raised one eyebrow at me.
"Of course!" masigla kong sagot. I was up to the challenge and to Lady Sneddelline's character. I felt like it was hitting two birds with one stone. "Ready na ba?"
She is stunned. Pero, mabilis na nakahuma.
"I don't know why you're so excited, but I am excited to see you failed." She said frankly. Napangiti sya ng matamis. I knew it was fake.
"Concluding without knowing the result will lead you to disappointment. We will see about that, Hedmistress Klaus."
Her bashing won't affect me anymore. Bakit naman ako magpapaapekto kung alam ko sarili ang kakayahan ko. People in my world won't call me genius if I am not capable. I am not boasting, but I am telling a fact. I consider it a blessing from Above.
"Let's see. But before that, what will I gain if you failed?" She was raising both her eyebrows.
She is somewhat suggesting to a bet. Napaisip tuloy ako. What should I offer and want?
"Aha!" I exclaimed. I thought something that would benefit her if I failed. "If I failed, I will withdraw myself to this school. And I will tell father that I am not capable."
"Not bad. I like that." She commented as she showed her vicious smirk. Gaya nang iniisip ko masisiyahan ito sa makukuha nya. Afterall, she hated and had a prejudice to Lady Sneddelline.
"How about if I succeed? What will I earn?"
Tila nag-iisip ito pero kalaunan, "You say... what do you want? Make sure it is within my power."
I give her a mischievous smile. I think this thoroughly, and it is beneficial for my goal in living a life for Lady Sneddelline.
"It is simple... I want an access to your office archive." Nilibot ko ang tingin sa mga natataasang shelves na naabot ng paningin ko.
