"Possession? Is she a thing to be possessed?" Tumaas ang isang kilay ni Prince Rustean. Nagpalipat-lipat ang tingin nya sa aming dalawa ni Zauster.
"Figuratively... not literally." Nilabanan ni Zauster ang pananuring tingin ni Prince Rustean.
"As long as you two aren't binded with wedding, I still have a chance to snatch Nebby from you." Prince Rustean smirked.
"I won't allow you." Zauster with determined voice.
"Let's see..."
"We will see about that." Mas humigpit ang hawak ni Zauster sa akin.
This convo is making me insane. Kung hindi ko pa alam ang ugali ni Zauster at obsession ni Prince Rustean, iisipin kong talagang pinag-aagawan nila ako... I mean si Lady Sneddelline. So, this is how it feels to be in a love triangle. Napakahirap pala. On the second note, there is no love triangle among the three of us!
"Titingnan talaga natin."
"Malalaman natin."
Mabilis kong tinanggal ang pagkakahawak ni Zauster sa akin. I should meddle before this gets heated.
"Can you both stop? Kahit anong gawin nyo, wala akong pipiliin sa inyong dalawa," dahil narito na rin lang ako sa sitwasyon, magpapaka-feeling na ako... just this once. "There will be no marraige to happen between us, Zauster. And... I am not Nebby, Prince Rustean... so please stop the chase." Pagkatapos kong sabihin 'yon, nagtungo kaagad ako sa aking upuan. Bahala sila.
Kailangan kong mag-isip ng isang mabisang solusyon sa mga problema. Isang solusyon na magreresolba sa lahat ng mga problema sa buhay ni Lady Sneddelline. If I am going to entertain them, mas lalo lang sasakit ang ulo ko.
"And... also with them." I muttered when I noticed the main characters.
Sunod-sunod ang pagpasok nila sa silid. Nanadya talaga ang tadhana. Napakagandang timing. Kami-kami palang ang narito. Nagpatay-malisya kaagad ako na tila may pinagkakaabalahan.
"Prin– I mean Master Rustean... what are you doing here?" Narinig kong bungad ni Prince Geovanne.
"I am here to study and to pursue someone." Kahit hindi ko sya tingnan, ramdam ko ang tingin nya sa akin.
Gusto kong maging invisible sa mga oras na 'to. Everyone of them is staring at me... and that is no good. Limit myself to the limelight, limit myself to the main characters... all are failed. Kung maging invisible na kaya ako? But I don't think I can do that. I couldn't take any risk again.
"Sa madaling salita, ang mang-agaw ng pag-aari ng iba." It was Zauster. He was becoming repetitive but... I thank him for diverting the attention to him.
"Having no deed of seal means I am not stealing someone's possession."
"It has been decided. Technically, manggugulo ka lang."
"Wait... wait, you two. How about we ask her?" Prince Geovanne asked... and I wanted to punch him straight to the face for getting back the attention to me. "Lady Sneddelline?"
I sigh. As much as I want to ignore them, mas hahaba ang exposure ko kapag pinatagal ko 'to.
"I would choose no one." Directly, I deadpanned. Ibinalik ko ang atensyon sa pagpapanggap na may pinakakaabalahan.
Hindi ako nakarinig ng anumang salita pagkatapos nu'n hanggang sa magsidatingan na ang mga kaklase namin. It seems like to shut them up is to be honest. Walang patutunguhan ko paaasahin ko sila. With love, I can't decide for Lady Sneddelline. I have no right—that's it!
