"Winter clothes, boots, camping materials, money, books..." I was rechecking the things I should bring with me on my escapade. "May nakalimutan pa ba ako?"
Muli kong pinasadahan ng tingin ang mga bagay sa ibabaw ng kama ko. I look around to the entire room of Lady Sneddelline. This room has lot of stored memories of me being her. Hindi ko makakalimutan ang lugar na 'to.
I keep roaming my sight around until it stops to Lady Sneddelline's study table.
"I almost forget the letter." I almost exclaimed.
Mabilis akong lumapit sa mesa at kinuha ang sulat na ginawa ko kagabi. I am currently in the Homero's Dukedom because of Winter Break. Tila nakikiayon ang lahat sa kagustuhan ko. With this incident, I can properly execute the plan with Steff. We are literally escaping. We plan to have a journey outside the Kingdom of Feytoppia. I am risking now with the credit that Lady Sneddelline has given me. I have no better option than escaping.
And... this letter is for Lady Sneddelline's family. Sana lang maintindihan nila ang rason na sinulat ko rito.
As part of their family for quite time, napalapit na ako sa kanila. I first to have experienced what a family is about. For the first time, I feel envious to someone for having such a great family. Wala akong maipipintas sa pamilya ni Lady Sneddelline. Everything is perfectly fit even with imperfections. They even outstand or outshine the main characters in this story. I am thankful that even for a short period of time, I have given the opportunity to meet them.
I have realized that an extra is not an unfortunate thing. It is not what role you play, it is about how to make use of that role.
Alam kong malulungkot or madi-disappoint sila sa gagawin ko pero ito talaga ang nakatadhanang mangyari. Hindi ako permanenteng mananatili rito. Hindi ako pupwedeng maging si Lady Sneddelline habang-buhay. I need to find myself as well. I need to find a way to return to my original world... that's the sole purpose of having an extra credit... to make a choice.
Napaayos ako ng tayo nang marinig ko ang katok mula sa pintuan. Mabilis kong tinago ang sulat sa drawer. Itinago ko rin ang maleta sa ilalim ng kama. Humarap ako sa pinto bago nagsalita.
"Come in."
The knob creaks as the door opens. Bumungad sa akin ang nakangiting si Nesh tulak ang lagayan ng pagkain. Pero imbes na pagkain ang dala nito, pares na teacup at saucer ang matatagpuan rito. It is Pollensia tea... I guess.
"Narito na po ang morning tea nyo, Lady Sneddelline." She courtsied.
"Salamat." This would be my last tea.
Aalis na sana si Nesh pero mabilis ko syang pinigilan. This would be the last time I would be seeing her. I should atleast bid goodbye... of course, without her knowing. She has been good to me. Isa sya sa mga taong tapat at maaasahan ni Lady Sneddelline.
"Be healthy and take care." For this last time, I couldn't help but to hug her.
"Lady Sneeddelline... may dinadamdam ka po ba?" Mabilis syang kumalas sa yakap. Kitang-kita ko ang pag-aalala nito.
Umiling ako at nginitian sya. "We won't be seeing for a long time." Or might be... this is the last time we would be seeing each other.
"Huh? Aalis ka po ba?" she plastered a questioning look, but then, "Naalala ko na-kailangan nyo nang bumalik sa Odeius Academy."
I smiled. Marahil, mas mabuting ganoon ang isipin nya.
Nag-usap pa kami ni Nesh pero sandali lamang 'yun. Nagpaalam kaagad sya dahil may trabaho pa syang hindi natatapos.
