Chapter 32:
Fate

"I don't know how to do it. Being a healer takes a lot of time to learned. It's something that can't learn in just one day". Saad ko habang malalim pa din na nag-iisip sa mga sinabi ni Hecaru sakin.

It's still unbelievable for me that I can really dispel the curse magic. I am the cure that I'm dying to find. How uncanny.

Hecaru chuckled a bit before putting a huge antique book on the table in front of me. It seems like a healer book based on the texture and color of it.

Nakabasa na'ko ng mga ganitong libro sa Heros pero hindi ko inaakalang magkakaroon 'yon ng malaking parte sa buhay ko ngayon.

"You need to stay here for one week". He said that made shocked.

One week?

"Ganon katagal akong mananatili dito?".

Tumango sya habang may kinakalikot na kung ano sa isang maliit na kwarto sa harapan ko. He seems troubled finding something he badly needs.

I already made my promise to myself that I'll do anything just to find a cure for Levn. Hindi na'ko pwedeng magdalawang isip pa at gawin na lamang ang nararapat. I'm sure Hecaru won't disappoint by teaching me healer things that I'm not really familiar with.

Nararamdaman kong mahihirapan ako pero parte 'yon ng buhay. I need to work hard to get the result I wanted. There's no backing down.

"Again". Hecaru strictly said as he shook his head in disappointment as I turned the dead fish into ashes.

It's my second day here in his house and I'm still consistently making mistakes and embarrassment. Nakakahiya.

I sighed and put my hands above the new fish he put on the table, trying to control the powerful magic arising inside my body.

He told me that I'm not balance when it comes on controlling both my magic and ability. Isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit madaling maubos ang aking mana.

"Do it again". He told me once again after I turned the 30th fish into pieces instead of making it alive again.

Napahinga ako ng malalim bago umupo sa malapit na upuan sakin at sumandal doon. I feel so drain.

"What now, your highness? You're giving up?".

Umiling ako sa tanong nya. "Never".

Sa ikaapat na araw ko sa pagsasanay, wala pa din akong nabubuhay na isda. It's either they get burnt or cut into pieces.

Hecaru often scold me because of not making my power steady. Dapat daw ay hindi sobrang lakas, at hindi din sobrang hina.

I should released balance power so my mana wouldn't decreased fast. Malaki ang nakukuha ng healing magic sa bawat mana kaya naman madaling manghina ang sino mang gumagamit nito kapag hindi nya alam kontrolin.

That's what I put in my mind as I calm my body and control my power in it's right strength and pressure.

"You're doing a good job". Hecaru praised me when I made the fish move a bit, like it's gasping for air. "Just don't be distracted by your own thoughts and clear your mind when you're healing. That way, your magic only focuses on the person you're treating".
