A/N: That Jurassic World: Dominion trailer was so cool! I can't believe we still have to wait so long though. Anyway, hope this fanfic will be enough to keep you excited until then.

Something wet and sticky was lapping at my face over and over again. I scrunched up my face and slowly opened my eyes. Angel's dark red eyes stared back at me as she continued to lick me. I jumped back from her and shot to my feet as I wiped the sticky saliva off my face. I hadn't meant to doze off. Why didn't the others wake me?

Sammy appeared from behind Angel and rubbed her back. "Aww, she was checking on you," she said.

"Not that I needed her too, ew". I flicked my hand, causing more of the saliva to fall off. "Why didn't you guys wake me?"

"Well, you sort of dozed off and Yaz and I didn't want to wake you since you and Darius haven't gotten a good nights sleep in a while," Sammy said matter-of-factly. It was true, I did feel much more energised than I had in a long while, I never knew how tired I was. "Plus, you look adorable when you sleep. You're like a little cat," she added with a giggle.

"Hey, I do not," I denied as I felt embarrassment rise up in me.

Yasmina burst from the bushes and looked as if she was running from something. The bushes shook again and the Brachiosaurus jumped out and tackled her to the ground. She groaned, but upon seeing the baby's happy face, she chuckled lightly.

I stood over with a grin, offering my hand. "Now you know how Ben and I feel," I said as she took my hand and I pulled her up.

Ben approached us with a bundle of sticks in his arms. The Brachiosaurus looked excited to see him, but Ben didn't acknowledge her. "It's so nice Angel playing with...the other one," Sammy said unsurely. "Ben, Max. Why haven't you named her yet?"

"I'm terrible with names, so I gave the job to Ben," I said with a shrug as I looked at Ben for some clarity on the baby's name.

"I'm not giving her a name," Ben said. He saw our faces and sighed. "If I don't give her a name, I won't get attached and be hurt more when I have to leave her. Been there, done that". He looked at the floor, looking very depressed at the moment.

"Hey, if you ever want to talk about Bumpy...," I began.

"There's nothing to tell!" Ben interrupted. "She's there, I'm here. It's simple, just saying that you've been warned". He dropped the sticks, turning and walking away from us. "Let's take them to the cave, it might be the only place they can be safe".

After he left, I exchanged concerned glances with Sammy and Yasmina. I looked down in thought as I tried to think of a way to make Ben feel better. Suddenly, my head exploded in pain and I gripped it in pain.

"Max? What's wrong?"

I struggled to stop myself from crying out in pain. I waved the concern of my friends away and stumbled away into the bushes. I didn't know what was going on with me, I had been getting headaches quite often recently and some were really painful, but this was unlike any other. It was like something was splitting my head in two.

I collapsed at the bank of a river and dunked my head under the water, washing the saliva off me and trying to block out the attack on my mind. It hurt so bad that I actually began trying to tear my head off, anything to stop this unbearable pain. More pain filled my fingertips and my face contorted up as it felt like things were trying to push out of all parts of my body.

The headache stopped. I was covered in sweat as I took in gulps of air to calm myself down. There was still a little bit of residing pain in my head, but I could deal with that for now. When the pain had completely disappeared, I finally opened my eyes, looking into the river...and screamed.
