The forest stretched out ahead of him, going on as far as the I can see, the mountains on the horizon acting as a natural enclosure. There was no better place for a base this secure. He watched it all from behind the glass of the control room. He always took a moment to admire the progress he had made, but today was a far more special occasion.

The phone in is pocket rang. Lewis Dodgson picked it up and put it to his ear, his gaze returning to the forest. "It's done?" He asked.

"Yes," the voice on the other end said. "The dinosaurs are out in the world, society will soon plunge into chaos... Max did everything right, more than we could have hoped for".

"Yes, his skills are commendable," Dodgson said. "It has begun, the cataclysm. Dinosaurs are now living among us. No one will want to admit it, but humanity is now under attack. The current leaders won't be able to handle the situation. People will want a competent leader in these new times".

The person on the other phone sighed. "The government will never trust BioSyn".

Dodgson smirked as he walked closer to the glass, looking up to the sky that was visible through the glass. "True, nor will they trust anything related to us. But Max, he's a hero to some, an icon, and to others...a demon. He will be a major point of interest in the coming chaos".

"But he's just one man. If we lose Max, humanity might as well follow".

Dodgson straightened up, his grip tightening on the phone. "Then see to it that we don't loose him".

Darius Bowman drove his jeep through the forest, drumming his fingers on the steering wheel as he hummed to the music on the radio. His mind was currently adrift with thoughts, only half focusing on the road. He was more or less trying to think of what he was going to make for dinner, he had just gone and bought a whole load of shopping, but he didn't really have any idea how to turn all that into a proper meal. He supposed it didn't matter too much, after all. He could always just eat a snack or something.

Darius quickly hit the brakes, coming to an abrupt stop as he gently weaved through depressions in the road, in the shape of Trike tracks. Darius' hand lifted to the radio and changed the channel. After a moment of static, a synthetic voice rolled through.

"If you've been injured by a dinosaur or flying reptile, you may be entitled to financial compensation...".

He changed the channel again.

"Dinosaurs had their shot. Now we're supposed to share our world with them, and how hope that everything will be okay? Nonsense! What say you, caller?"

"I do not feel safe, Ross. It was bad enough they made a dinosaur theme park, but at least it was on an island".

"Not so sure those Camp Cretaceous kids would feel the same way. They finally escape, only for one of them to get eaten up back at home, while another is roaming around and sowing chaos all over the country with his dinosaur killers!".

"I wonder if those kids knew that boy was a failed experiment?"

"Who can tell? But I know one thing, this nightmare will never end so long as that abomination remains alive!"

Darius angrily grabbed the radio and spun the dial again, not caring what channel he ended up on. But then the radio beeped in alarm as a new voice spoke.

"This is not a test. Dinosaurs have been spotted off Route 693, near mile marker seven. Department of Prehistoric Wildlife officers have been dispatched. Repeat, DPW officers have been dispatched. Please avoid the area".
