A/N: I am actually super annoyed, the moment I finished this chapter and published it, I mis-click and have 80% of this chapter deleted without any way to recover it. So for those of you who read it and only got around 1000 words in the entire chapter, sorry about that. I've calmed down now and here's the full version.
Lightning flashed brightly above me, illuminating the jungle around me for a second before being plunged back into darkness. Rain poured down, soaking me all the way through as I searched all around, I didn't what I hoped to find but there had to be something here that could help me. A roar tore through the air, sending a chill down my spine. Loud footsteps echoed around me, I was completely blind in the darkness and I couldn't see what direction the footsteps were coming from. I stepped backwards until my back hit a tree, I glanced all around, looking for any signs of movement. Human screams rang out, my eyes widened and I ran blindly into the darkness. The ominous roars continued and seemed to get louder as I continued to run. I emerged into a clearing and another flash of lightning happened above, lighting the place for a small period of time. In the light I saw the bodies of my friends, or what was left of them. They had been mauled so much I could barely recognise them, some had missing limbs, others had quills protruding from their necks and stomachs. I felt a presence behind me, I slowly turned and saw nothing. I stepped back, further into the clearing. I looked up into tree and saw a shadowy shape in the darkness, another flash of lightning happened and it briefly blinded me. When my eyes had readjusted, it was too late, a black, clawed hand came pit of nowhere and struck me in the face and sent me flying into a tree. I struggled to get up as my hand flew to my face, it came away red and dripping liquid. I lay back against the tree as my vision blurred. The creature crawled towards me on all fours, I still couldn't see what it was. I suddenly realised I couldn't breathe, my hand flew to my throat and I felt a clean cut. It had cut my throat open! Panic threatened to take over as I desperately gasped for air. The creature jumped toward me, its jaw detaching from the top of its mouth as it bit down on my head.

I woke up and struggled to contain my scream, luckily it just came out as a light squeak, not waking anyone up. My hands instinctively flew to my throat, feeling nothing, I calmed down and slowed my rapid bretahing. It was dead at night and everyone was asleep, my eyes adjusted to the darkness and I looked around, trying to clear my head of that horrible dream I had just had. In the main area of the camp, our raft sat, it was nearly nearly done, just a few minor adjustments needed and we would be sailing our way back to Costa Rica, we would be sailing back home. Soon, we would all be off this island for good. The thought comforted me, enough for me to be able to lay back down and slowly fall back to sleep.

A few days later, our raft was drifting away from the island, the sail catching the wind. Sammy laughed as the raft went further out to see and only laughed harder when Kenji started splashing her with water. Brooklynn grabbed a vine and tied it into a knot. I watched them all from above from my spot on the mast, my legs dangling down. "Goodbye, Jurassic World," Darius said.
Back on the shore, we watched Bumpy bellow at us and walk up and down the shore line. Leaving Bumpy would hit all of us, but it would definitely hit Ben the hardest. "Goodbye, Bumpy," Ben said, then he looked down sadly.
Kenji broke out laughing, "see you never, stupid dinosaur island," he said, "you thought you could eat us? No way! You thought you could stomp on us? Think again!"
"Yeah," Sammy said, playing along, "you thought you could crush our spirits? Impossible!" The two of them high-fived and began a handshake sequence.
