We all groaned as we recovered from the shock of what just happened. I looked around, everyone was looking alright so far. Bumpy popped her head up and acted like nothing had just happened. "Is everyone okay?" I asked quickly.

Yasmina glared at me. "Is everyone okay!?" She yelled before jumping out of the van and storming off. Sammy jumped out the back and chased after her. I stayed behind and helped everyone out.

"Yaz!" Sammy called after her.

Yasmina suddenly rounded on her. "We are not okay, we're on a dinosaur filled island with a monster and you..."

"Destroyed our only chance of rescue and lied about it", Brooklynn yelled.

"Wait," Darius said. "So you did steal Brooklyn's phone, why?"

Brooklynn appeared next to him. "Probably so she could find a way to delete that video I had of her taking the skin samples off the Sinoceratops". She held up her shattered phone. "And you knew about the Indominus, because you were sneaking into Dr Wu's lab, you had stolen something when I ran into you, I knew it!"

There were so many questions that I had to ask. "When did you get this video?" I asked.

"After you guys got us out of the Gyrosphere", Brooklynn said, "as we were all getting back into the jeep I was recording, in the corner of the camera, Sammy was taking scales off the Sinoceratops that got us in the mud, and then I'll bet she couldn't delete the video so instead she broke it".

Sammy shook her head, "I didn't mean to," she said. "I fell on it when the zip-line came down".

Another thought came to my head. "Wait, what were you doing in Dr Wu's lab, Brooklynn?".

She suddenly was at a loss of words. "It doesn't matter," she said finally. "I didn't steal our only chance of help and lie about it, this is her fault!"

Suddenly Sammy yelled over us. "I'm here to spy!" That silenced us. Sammy looked down in shame, we waited for more. "For a company called Mantah Corp".

Darius looked to all of us, "Mantah Corp", he said. "They're a bio-engineering company, big rivals with Masrani. They wanted to create dinosaurs too but Wu beat them to it".

"You doomed us all, for some lousy company!?" Ben yelled.

Sammy nodded. "Our ranch was in trouble," she said. "So we borrowed money from some shady people, we didn't know they were fronting for Mantah Corp, they said we would lose everything unless I spied for them, use the VIP access I got from camp to get them skin samples and whatever else they needed, then Brooklyn caught on and I got scared and then everything went wrong". She turned to Yasmina. "This is the last thing I wanted to happen".

Yasmina's expression did not change. "Huh, to be next to a broken van and being stuck on killer dinosaur island?" She said. "Hey me too, what a surprise".

"Yaz," Sammy said, "I-".

"Was it all a lie?" Yasmina said. "Wanting to be friends? Pretending you cared?" Yasmina's expression returned to her icy look she had when she yelled at me for invading her space. "You just needed someone to hide what you were doing, tell me I'm wrong". Sammy didn't respond. "I'm such an idiot". Yasmina turned around again and continued to walk away.

"You are wrong", Sammy said and rushed up to her. "I just didn't know how to say it, just because I spied doesn't change who I am".

She put her hand on Yasmina's shoulder but she shook her off. "Don't touch me". She yelled and glared at her. "Go away, Sammy". Sammy looked away and walked off to a private corner, tears beginning to form in her eyes. Yasmina walked back to us. Bumpy jumped at her and was roaring at her. "Not now Bumpy," she said, her eyes closed.
