They'd Always Loved you.

Warm and comfortable.

 For Ghost, this was the first time in a long time he's ever been able to sleep so soundly, to the point even he doesn't realize for how long he's been asleep for. His recollection of what had happened with his own comrades was clear, but what happened afterwards wasn't as clear, as he was clouded with guilt and sadness,

'What was I sleeping on again?' he thought to himself, curious. 

He then opens his eyes. The evening sky had now turned into a dark, star filled sky. He looks at the stars of the night sky. He wasn't looking at it alone, as the angel who comforted him was also looking up into the sky. 

He then remembers what it actually was he was sleeping on, her lap. The angel then noticed the now awake Ghost, and decides to greet the still drowsy man,

"Finally awake, eh?" Exusiai says with a grin on her face, before she followed with a tease,

"Was my lap pillow so comfortable you couldn't help but want to sleep on it more?"

"....Yeah. Truth be told, this was the most comfortable nap I've had in a long time." Ghost casually replies to her. Not in a teasing manner, not to get back at her. He really just said all that with a straight face to her, being as honest as he could.

Hearing this, Exusiai got a little flustered. She didn't expect for him to be able to say something like that so directly to her, but nevertheless, she was glad to see he was fine again. Exusiai then says to him,

"If you don't mind, my legs are getting really sore now, so could you please get up?" 

"Oh, I'm sorry, I'll get up now" Ghost, weirdly politely complies to her request. To be honest, she was expecting more of a sarcastic reply from him. This Ghost that had just awoken in front of her caught her a little off guard. 

The pair then started to walk back to the others, and during their walk, Ghost suddenly said to her,

"Hey..."

"Hmm...?"

"Thanks"

"for what?"

"For doing all this for me"

"You thank me too much, I just did it because no one else would"

"Even so, it was still you that helped me, again." Ghost said as he turned around smiled at her beneath his mask. This time, too, there were no other intentions of getting back at her or anything. He merely smiled because he was grateful to her for being here with him.

"s-stop that. It's weirding me out" Exusiai, not having seen him act like this before, feels a little awkward. Why has his attitude suddenly changed with her? But Ghost simply kept on walking, unaware of the awkwardness he'd inflicted on the Exusiai walking behind him

"Oho, look who's finally here." Vigna says with a mischievous suggestive tone as the two operators slowly came into her sight. The squads from before, who had already finished packing up to go back and were just actually waiting for the pair, all looked into their direction.

They all looked for a second, before proceeding to cover their mouths with their hands, seemingly chattering amongst themselves, occasionally laughing and giggling while the both kept on approaching them.

When the pair got close enough, they stopped,

"What were you all laughing about?" Ghost asked out of curiosity,
