In the kitchen of Rhodes Island's Landship, the ever lively operator from Ursus named Gummy was busy cooking as she always was, her love for the act of cooking and the joyous whims of those who eat her very handmade dishes as their faces lit up in pleasant delight always serving to propel her to happily continue without fail.
On one indifferent morning, however, her routine cooking was slightly disturbed with the presence of a meek Ghost standing nervously at the door into the kitchen, a place he was very seldom seen in. For a couple of days after that, he had been seen just sitting on a vacant chair in the kitchen, his gaze intently following Gummy's every movement and motion as she tried, to the best of her abilities, to mind her own business cooking up that day's food.
After a while, this peculiar act of his made Gummy feel ever so slightly uncomfortable, with his undistracted eyes making it feel like she was being felt up and down on her entire body, so she finally decided to approach Ghost in his seat and nervously asked,
"Um.....can I l...help you with something?" Ghost was slightly surprised, but he was anxiously waiting for this all this time, so, nervously, he tried to stammer out a reply,
"Well, uh....I.....uh...actually-"
"If you need anything, I can try to help!" Gummy's light and cheerful voice made an attempt at reassuring the stuttering Ghost. Hearing her say that, he took a deep breath, purging his mind of irrelevant doubt, before stating himself,
"I actually...uh...wanted to ask you to teach me how to cook...if you don't think it's a bother..." His words bashfully slithered out, his tone a little meek as his hands nervously scratched the back of his hung low head. Gummy's face etched itself with a small smile, her eyes fixated at the fidgeting person in front of him, her hands tentatively taking his hands into hers,
"Sure, I don't mind!"
Ghost stared at her face, which by now was right up his face as she had leaned much closer to his face, her excitement at passing down her love and knowledge of cooking causing her to do so without much thought. Her eyes seemed to dazzle with passion, a dazzle that Ghost couldn't help but get lost in as well.
"Really?! Yes!" Ghost's meek face had now turned energetic at her response as his hands collapsed into a fist, a small celebratory jump was evident of how excited he was. Gummy felt a sense of congratulatory self-content looking at the now cheerful Ghost, but there was still a question lingering in her mind that she couldn't help but want to ask him,
"But, why do you want to learn how to cook?"
Ghost paused his celebratory acts, his body straightening as his hands now moved to grip the sides of his hips as he thought for a moment, before he finally replied,
"Well.....I just thought that maybe I can learn to do something else other than fighting....I want to try doing normal things." Gummy's face lit up with slight surprise, but in her heart she was glad to hear his reason. Being someone who had suffered through the pain and woes of a war stricken environment, she herself knows all too well how comforting a simple normal act such as cooking could be amidst such chaos.
Gummy smiled at him, before she made her way back to the kitchen counter. She then grabbed her frying pan and struck her signature pose, lifting up her pan close to her face,
"Let's get started on our first lesson, shall we?"

"...Where's Ghost?" Jessica promptly asked Adnachiel as she stepped foot into the training range with today's innate intent of further honing her shooting prowess, though she couldn't help but get her attention now caught by the absence of Ghost in the training room.
