A start of something, I guess.

"I'm finished." Sussuro says after neatly wrapping up his left arm in new, clean white bandages, before she stepped up from the chair she sat on, ready to leave.

"Are you going already?" Ghost asks,

"Yeah. I came here on quite the short notice, I still have some work left at the Landship"

"Okay, then. See ya."

Sussuro then took a step away, but immediately stopped herself, before she went rummaging through the bag she brought with her, seemingly in search for something as Ghost looked curiously at her.

"Here, take this." Sussuro says as she lifts her hand out of the bag, holding what seemed to be pills in her grasp.

"...what are these?"

"Painkillers."

"Why would I need them? I already told you, I can't feel pain, my body's numb"

"...just take it. You'll need it, I think."

"...well, okay then...."

Ghost reluctantly accepts the painkillers, unsure why she even gave him those in the first place. And with that, she finally exits the ward, leaving him alone.

"...Guess I'll sleep."

-The next day-

Ghost wakes up. The emptiness of the ward he sat in greets him, or so he thought, when all of a sudden a female voice greets him,

"FInally awake, huh?

Ghost looks over to where the voice came from, only to see the iconic inspector of the L.G.D, Hoshiguma sat on a chair besides him. Curiously, he asked,

"Inspector Hoshiguma, why are you here?"

"Drop the formalities, it's not like we've never worked together before. I just came to visit the hero of the day, that's all."

"Not you calling me a hero, too."

"Hahaha, I'm just joking, but you deserve it, really."

A grin forms on the two's face, before Ghost resumed the conversation,

"...Speaking of that, how's it going with that guy's case?"

"It's going smoothly, the footage really helps, it's basically concrete proof. As for the guy himself, he's....fine, I guess. You really did a number to him, though, you almost cracked his skull"

"Erk.....I'm sorry bout that"

"You don't need to be sorry, you did the right thing after all. Anyways, enough about that. I'm here to visit you, not talk about that. So, How are you feeling now? Better?"

"I'm fine. Just a flesh wound, I'll get better in no time"

Ghost casually replies, but Hoshiguma upon hearing his response slightly wrinkled her eyebrows, asking again,

"You sure you're fine?"

"Yes, I am."

"If that's what you say, then okay. Anyways, the doctor said you're clear to be discharged today. Congratulations on that. Oh and here, your sword. The L.G.D guards who were on the scene took it in thinking it was evidence, luckily I've seen your sword before, so I knew it was yours."

Hoshiguma says as she picks up his sword she'd left leaning on the side of her chair, presenting it to him,

"Thanks,-" Ghost then tried to reach out his arm to grab his sword, but as soon as he tried to move his arm, a sharp pain suddenly ran through his arm like a stroke of lightning, causing him to jolt a little, his other hand hastily moving to pressure the spot in pain,
