sana was at home still bummed out a bit about beomgyu and yeonjun
she thought she should just get over it but it was kind of hard to
she was getting ready for bed when she hears ruffling outside of her 2nd story window
it sounded like a bunch of footsteps
she went to check it out from her window
she looked out but couldn't see a thing
she held out a flashlight to see a group of people
yeonjun, laila, afeefa, jake, jeonghan, and farwa we're out on her lawn
and beomgyu infront with a sign that had "stop crying and go to homecoming with me" written across it
a mariachi band came out to play and she bursted into laughter
"IM SORRY SANA I WONT TEACH YEONJUN ANY MORE SONGS" beomgyu yelled out to her window
everyone else jumped yeonjun and started to playfully beat him up
yeonjun in between laughs said "PLEASE FORGIVE HIM SANA!!"
sana couldn't believe this kid
she stood laughing in her room looking out to them
she noticed hajra wasn't there
so this is what they were talking about she thought remembering the text message earlier
"wtf is all this noise" shabeela came in sanas room hearing all the ruckus assuming sana was the cause of it
"omg you gave me a heart attack" sana said holding her chest
"and all of this didn't??" shabeela said looking out the window
suddenly they both heard footsteps coming towards sanas room
heavy slow footsteps
their stepdad...
he barged in without knocking like he usually did
sana waved everyone off from her window
her dad ran to the window expecting to see someone there
everyone had hid behind the bushes
even the mariachi band
their step dad slowly turned to sana and shabeela
"go to your room shabeela" he said coldly while staring at sana
"w-why? what are you gonna do" shabeela asked trembling
he shot her a look and she knew immediately she had to leave or it would be worse for the both of them
"i told you to not wake me ever again" he said to sana
"i-it was just some raccoons i was shooing them aw-" she didn't even get to finish her sentence before he gave her a slap across the face
sana fell to the ground holding her face
shabeela quickly ran in and held on to sana on the floor
their stepdad didn't hesitate to land a kick to shabeelas face as well
"i thought i told you to go to your room" he told shabeela
he left them crying and bruised on the floor
"we can't keep letting him do this to us" sana said to shabeela
"i told you sana, just let me get into college, i promise i'll take you with me" shabeela said holding her pinky out to sana
they intertwined pinky's and smiled fondly to each other
"we should probably tell them to go home" shabeela said to sana
"i'll just text them...so he doesn't wake up again" sana said holding her cheek still

SANA: hey sorry my step dad caught us...u should go home
BEOMGYU: omg is everything ok...?
SANA: ya he just got a little mad. i'll see u tm :)
