the group made it out of the building
some bonds were strengthened while others were broken
laila and yeonjun on opposite sides of the group
beomgyu avoiding sana
soobin feeling awkward and just sticking to laila
"...laila, laila hello??" soobin waved his hand in her face
"huh what?" laila came back from zoning out
"i've been speaking for 5 minutes, did you even hear me?" he asked
"oh i'm sorry, i'm just so tired, it's been a long night" she said

"yes" farwa rolled her eyes
jeonghan and joshua laughed at her
"stoppp it's literally not funny at all" she said
"do you think monsters are gonna come out your closet?" jeonghan laughed teasing her

"ouch" he held his chest

"why are you guys so giggly and happy" hajra asked afeefa and jake
"we're gonna go to college together, then get married, and have kids, and grow old together" afeefa said cheesing for her life
"woah you planned your whole life together" jay said
"yeah maybe we should plan our future huh beomgyu?" sana said to beomgyu, who was walking 5 feet apart from her
"huh...sure" he said not even looking up from the floor
whys he in a mood sana thought
"chill out guys you're only in 11th grade" joshua said
"weren't you just telling me your future plans with shabeela??" jeonghan asked
"that's different, were seniors" shabeela said

yeonjun wasn't engaging in any conversations that we're going on, he wasn't being his usual annoying self
instead he walked with his head hung low and his hands stuffed in his pockets
"yeonjun why are you so quiet?" joshua asked
"it's probably the alcohol" jake said
"yeah jay dances a lot with alcohol and yeonjun probably gets sad and quiet with it" hajra says
"yeah everyone's different" farwa added
soobin and laila got awkward knowing it wasn't the alcohol
soobin felt guilty
he didn't know it would make yeonjun this sad
but how could he not try and win laila back, he had feelings for her as well after all
and he didn't want to just push those feelings aside because some boy from her new school liked her aswell
"my drivers waiting at the front...he'll drop you all off" yeonjun said simply not even looking up
"don't give yeonjun anymore to drink" jay said pointing his thumb to yeonjun
"boy you shut up" hajra said

they all lousily threw themselves in the car due to a long night
"uh my cars parked over there so i'll be going...bye laila, text me" he said walking off to his car
"um okay bye" she slightly smiled at him
what was the point of him, whyd he shove into us, i could've ended up with laila by the end of today if it wasn't for him yeonjun thought with tears forming in his eyes
he tried his hardest to keep them from coming
but it was no use
a stream of tears went down his face
"yeonjun...a-are you crying?" sana asked him
"what's wrong? what happened" jay asked
"oh it's nothing, i just have a massive headache" he said glancing at laila and wiping his tears while sniffling

afeefa and jake were sat together still planning the details of their future
"we should talk more about this when we're seniors, so then we'll know for sure which college we'll be going to" afeefa said
"okay, we'll put this discussion on pause" jake said

shabeela rested her head on joshua's shoulder and was falling alseep
he looked down at her and moved a piece of hair out the way while kissing her cheek and whispered
"i love you"
shabeela heard but pretended to sleep
however her smile couldn't be contained
"ahhhh i see you smilinggg" he teased
"i love you too" she said looking up up and before resting her head again and falling asleep

jay laid his head in hajras lap as he had a headache
she played with his hair and hummed to him to calm his headache
"i'm so lucky to have you hajra" he said looking up to her and smiling
"oh stop, i'm the lucky one" she said
"nooo i am" he said back
"nooo really, i am" she said again
they just went back and forth

farwa and jeonghan were sat together as he was hugging farwa tightly, suffocating her
"omg ok stop i can't breathe" she said
"what? are you claustrophobic too?" he rolled his eyes
"yes actually" she also rolled her eyes
"what fear do you not have" he asked
"i don't know but you're gonna be added to the list of my fears" she teased
"wow you're really hurting my feelings today" he said as he hugged her tight
"cry about it" she smiled
he laughed and rested his head on her shoulder

yeonjun was just sitting in his thoughts when laila came and sat beside him
he right away got up to leave
she held his wrist so he couldn't
"...what" he said not even looking back
"yeonjun just talk to me..." she said
"about what? i have nothing to say to you" he said turning around
"i just want to say i'm sorry" laila said
"sorry for what?" he asked her
she stayed silent and stared at him
what was she sorry for?
"you don't even know why you're sorry, you're just apologizing so you can feel better about yourself" he said
"that's not true, i'm sorry for not feeling the same way about you" she said
"that's something you can't control" he said
"then...can we still be friends?" she dared to ask
"i'm sorry but i can't do that" he said
"w-why not" she felt tears coming
"because it would hurt me too bad to see you everyday and know you'll never be mine" he said walking off to another seat

sana was sat next to beomgyu...kind of
he was scooting away bit by bit every time she came closer
he scooted until he couldn't scoot anymore and was at the end of the limo by the door
she rested her head on his shoulder and he shrugged her off
she didn't know why he was acting this way
"hey are you okay?" she asked
"why wouldn't i be" he said looking out the window
"because you've obviously been ignoring me for the past hour" she said
"i'm not ignoring you, i'm talking to you right now" he said
"seriously beomgyu what's your problem?" she asked
"i don't have a problem, but you obviously have a problem with dating me" he finally said
"what?" she asked confused
"i heard what you said to soobin" beomgyu said
"wtf did i say to soobin??" she asked wanting to know what he heard
"sana stop playing dumb!!" he snapped
this conversation felt familiar
she had nearly the same one while breaking up with yeonjun...
the limo then made it to sanas house...
but there were 3 police cars surrounding it and cops everywhere
