"STOP" shabeela yelled stepping in-front of sana and taking the punch instead of sana
she fell to the floor as their mother watched in horror
"SHABEELA" joshua suddenly said as he ran to her
"I THOUGHT WE TOLD YOU TO WAIT SOMEWHERE ELSE" the step dad yelled
"WHY SO YOU COULD BEAT YOUR KIDS WHILE WE WERE IN THE OTHER ROOM!?" joshua yelled helping shabeela up from the floor
"AND WHY ARE YOU SO SURPRISED!? AS IF YOU DONT LIVE IN THIS HOUSE!!" joshua yelled to the mom
"guys what's all the ruckus" beomgyu said walking in to see shabeela in joshua's arms and sana with tears down her face
he ran straight to sana to comfort her
"w-whats going on" beomgyu said
"we're leaving, come on" joshua said coldly staring at the step dad
the step dad couldn't do anything but watch angrily as they all left the house
"sweeties please come back, let's just talk it out" their mom called out to the children, none of them listening to what she had to say

they all walked out to the sidewalk walking a bit down the block in case their mother or step father walked outside
"he's the one doing this to you huh?" joshua said to shabeela
she just stayed quiet and walked while looking to the floor

"i knew your dad was mean but i didn't know he would hit you...you should've told me" beomgyu said

"ya and now we're probably never going to see each other again" shabeela said with tears running down her face

"lets just go to the dance and forget all about this" shabeela said wiping her tears away wanting to have a good time

just then the limo pulled up and they got in greeting everyone

now that everyone was picked up, the limo was headed off to the school for homecoming
everyone was laughing and having a fun time in the limo
except for the 4 who just entered
"i'm not even kidding there's couples all around me i can't escape them" jeonghan complained
"first it was afeefa and jake, then yeonjun and laila, then joshua and shabeela...TWICE. it just keeps happening, i'm tired" he slumped in his seat
"maybe stop shoving in everyone's business and you'll see less couples" laila said giving hard advice
"then what would i do, everyone's business is my business" he rolled his eyes
everyone laughed and continued to talk
jeonghan couldn't help but notice shabeela, sana, beomgyu, and joshua being especially quiet
