shabeela and joshua walked out the classroom together hand in hand
vernon was at the end of the hall looking for shabeela
he saw them holding hands
his bouquet of roses fell to the ground
when he saw them holding hands he knew...
he knew he lost to joshua
maybe it was for the better
he could keep shabeela as a friend
that was enough for him
shabeela and vernon met eyes
shabeela made a sorry and apologizing face to him
he smiled to reassure her it was fine
he turned around and shed a tear
he didn't want shabeela to feel bad
why was he so torn up over her?
the bell rang
vernon was lost in the crowd

yeonjun was now stood talking in the group
sana stood an awkward distance away from beomgyu side eyeing him and yeonjun
"sana come onnn you're being so awkwarddd" beomgyu said
"i mean it's kinda awkward having my ex boyfriend take my friend to homecoming...just saying" she said not putting up with any of it
yeonjun stood awkwardly scratching the back of his head not knowing what to say
"and it's also kinda weird for you to go teach him a song that he would use to ask laila out" she continued
laila tucked in her lips also not knowing how to respond
"oh come on sana...it's not like our time together meant anything, let's just forget we were ever a thing" yeonjun said trying to come up with a solution
sana just looked away, crossed her arms, and sighed
"wow she's stubborn" yeonjun said raising his eyebrows
"ya, you didn't know?" beomgyu asked
"nope" yeonjun said simply
the girls always knew how fake their relationship was
but they didn't even know simple things about each other
it just goes to show how imperfect and unhappy they were together
jeonghan came back
"come on guys we should go to class, i'll walk you farwa" he said as he pulled farwa away by the arm
"um ok let's go" beomgyu said as he walked off and sana, yeonjun, and laila followed behind as they all had the same class
"ok then bye guys i should go" jay said walking off
"me too bye" afeefa said
"uh- but what about..." hajra said getting quieter with each word
jay usually walked her to class
but this time he just took off
hajra was left alone
she sighed as she walked off to class

"soooo when are you gonna ask me out to homecominggg??" jeonghan said having a skip in his step
"omg be patient" farwa said feeling pressured
"what do you meannnn, it's two days away alreadyyy" jeonghan said whining
"ya so is your football game. go win that and you'll get a grand homecoming proposal" farwa said
"WHAT?? we never agreed on that" jeonghan said
"ok? i never agreed on being the one to ask you out" farwa rolled her eyes
"omg ok, watch me win" he said smiling confidently and dropping her off at her class, kissing her on the cheek goodbye before running off to his own class
farwa smiled to herself knowing what she had planned
